Kun kaikki kolme ovat edessäsi, tunnet, että tämä on paikka sinulle. Frisky Fish Cottage sijaitsee pienellä poukamalla lähellä vettä ja rantaviiva on noin 125 metriä. Sisäiset ja ulkoiset näkymät ulkopuolelta sulautuvat toisiinsa; Valitse panoraama joko sohvan mukavuudesta tai adirondack-tuolista palokammion ulkopuolella. Jokaisesta ikkunasta tai rajoittamattomasta 'ikkunasta' näkymä merelle on vallitseva. Kun makuut nukkumaan, saatat nähdä kaatuneen vesilinjan kalastajien ajaessa heidän kuorma-autoissaan; kun heräät, saatat kuulla tulevan vuoroveden huijaavan veden ja katsoa niitä samoja kalastajia ratsastamassa veneistään.

Mökki on tarpeeksi pieni viehätysvoimainen, mutta ei tarpeeksi suuri hukuttaakseen puolitoista tarinaansa. Parvella katselee kutsuvaa olohuonetta katedraalin kaltaisten kattojen yli. Avoin konseptisuunnittelu antaa auringonvalon häikäistää sinut leveistä ikkunoista, joista on näkymä veteen. Keittiö ja aamiaisbaari on sijoitettu nurkkaan - piilotettu käytöstä, jotta se olisi hyödyllistä, mutta ei tunkeutua tärkeimpiin loistoon. Tai käänny tyylikkäästi sisustettuun parvihuoneeseen, johon on liitetty puoli-kylpyamme. Alakerran makuuhuone ja täysi kylpyamme (pesulatiloilla) täydentävät majoitukset.

Tulitpa sitten tänne rentoutumaan tai töihin, sadettavat tuulet, kutsuvat rannat, upeat auringonlaskut, talven ihmet, käytettävissä olevat mukavuudet ja kätevät mukavuudet täydentävät mahdollisuuksia.

Peaceful tranquility
This cute little cottage was perfect for my sister and I to get away and relax. Watching the tide go in and out and the fishing boats in the distance. Fresh lobster is right up the street and Helen’s Restaurant is not too far either. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was well stocked Wish we could have stayed a little longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Frisky Fish cottage. The reviews sold me on the house and it's nice to report here that the positive reviews are 100% accurate. The house is special because of its location and unique layout. Kudos to Lynn. She knows how to manage properties! The place was spotless when we arrived. The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen is well-equipped. The place is ideal for a couple seeking a get-away along the Bold Coast. You won't find anything better so jump at the opportunity to rent if you see dates that work for you.

Perfect cottage for two people that came fully equipped. Beautiful views from the many windows. Very impressed at the immediate response from the host when we reached out. Enjoyed staying at this cottage. Definitely would book again!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage
This is an adorable and well kept cottage right on the water with beautiful views at all times. There is a sheep farm across the street, which added to the charming setting. Inside, the beds were very comfortable, so we all slept well. I cooked dinners at the cottage every night, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was convenient for taking day trips to Campobello, Lubec, Eastport, and we even went to St Andrews one day. There are so many beautiful places to explore nearby. We had a fantastic trip, but wish I had booked it for longer than a week. We are from South Carolina, and it was so nice to escape the Southern heat!

Watching the tide in Machiasport
The location of the property is awesome. We loved watching the tidal changes and the fishermen at work. The home was comfortable and everything as promised. The only complaint is that there is no path to the entry and the steps for both doors are difficult to navigate. I have a bad knee and walking on wet uneven ground to the doorway and up steps with no or one railing was difficult. Great place but not very disability accessible. We still really enjoyed our stay.

We loved the location. The ocean on 3 sides is phenomenal. The harbor the activity - all awesome. There were a few things we were missing. No soap. No washcloths. The spoons don’t fit in a regular person’s mouth. The locking mechanism on the back door is challenging. We had to lock the door from the outside and come back in the front door. Would we go back? Absolutely! You have a slice of peace and relaxation that just needs a few extra items. Thank you for sharing your space with us.

Our stay at the Frisky Fish Cottage was fabulous! The cottage was spotless and well stocked. We loved watching the fishermen and bought lobsters from one of them. We spent time as kids in this area and found people so friendly, just as we remembered. A great spot!!

Great location a little difficult to find but it was amazing very clean fully stocked with everything we needed. We also enjoyed the viewing and the lobster men. We got to eat fresh lobster. Every one was so friendly. We were amazed by high and low tides. We enjoyed ourselves fishing and seeing the farm animals.It was just amazing!!

Heaven awaits
Such a privilege to stay at this wonderful home. The host was great; very communicative and the home was super clean. Each morning I watched the tide slide back into the ocean as I watched the local ships take off for work. I was honored to share my morning coffee with a bald eagle and two turkey vultures. The views of the forest with the mist will be with me forever. This was the perfect place for solitude. A must stay!

Love this house!
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Frisky Cottage! The house was so comfortable and clean. We didn’t have the greatest weather but we found plenty to do close by and just sitting in the cottage and watching the boats was relaxing. We even had a Bald Eagle land out front!

Idyllic place but Uncomfortable at Night
This place is beautiful! Right on the water and you can see lobster fisherman going to set their traps. The entire water view though is changed to basically a field of mud behind the house with low tide. The two issues we had were the heat and the bugs. On a cool night with the windows open it’s a dream! But other than one ceiling fan, there is no way to cool down! The heat in the loft makes sleeping very difficult. To add, we found cielings in various rooms to be covered with small flies (I grew up calling them noseeums). I told the property manager but she was unfazed. As a born and raised New Englander who has dealt with these types of bugs, this even grossed me out. All in all, loved the location and the house itself but left with some hot, sleepless nights covered in bug bites.
