This is an older property so at first glance it felt a bit disappointing. However the room was a good size, was clean and had everyrhing I needed. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was very good. The location was excellent, near the square, the market, many restaurants and a 5 min walk from the train station. What makes this property truly exceptional are the proprietors. The morning I left for Macchu Picchu they ensured i had all my tickets, sunscreen, bug spray etc. They truly care about their guests. Something I've never experienced before. They even accommodated me when I missed the breakfast hours. I highly reccomend staying here!

This was a functionally good hotel for us. We needed a clean, safe, and convenient place to sleep and shower. This hotel did just that. It is located in the heart of Machu Picchu Town close to restaurants, shopping, and the main square. The free breakfast was more than expected and the staff was very friendly. "Lés" (sp?) was amazing. She made us breakfast each morning and was very kind. The wifi was spotty on the 3rd and 4th four. It is not a fancy place, but it is functional and located well in the city.

This property is close to the train station and bus stop which is important because you will have to carry your luggage to your hotel as there is no vehicular traffic in Mach Picchu City. The hotel was clean. They provided a decent breakfast. The staff was very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again if I ever returned.

Perfect place to stay!

We had an amazing stay here! The family running the place is very nice and generous. We arrived early and were able to store our bags there until we checked in. When we checked in, our bags had been moved up to our room for us, which was nice. The room was large and very clean! Comfortable bed as well. The shower was hot. Location was perfectly close to everything. We went up Machu Picchu in the morning and were able to store our bags there for most of the day, until we came back down. I would highly recommend staying here!
