I decided not to stay there because drug addicts and criminals were hanging outside the building and the area had no cars in parking lot. Please refund my money. The staff said that they understood my concern and told m to contact Expedia for a refund. They mentioned that the whole neighborhood was the same.

This property is in bad shape. I booked it online under the name “Oyo Hotel” and arrived to a very old Econolodge. This hotel does not have a credit/debit card machine, so I had to go for a walk through the sketchy neighborhood to find an ATM to give them a cash deposit — mind you, I prepaid online so this was especially frustrating. Half the front building of the property is abandoned, including where a restaurant used to be. I was greeted by a cockroach in my room, and a dirty washcloth hanging on the bathroom door. Stay far away from this hotel.

This is an old Econolodge in an unsafe part of town. The pictures are false advertising. Usually OYO hotels are newly refurbished. This place should be condemned.

We went and the they had posted cash only I ask I had a reservation and they said I had to pay cash didn’t agree so I went to another hotel Call book. Came to explain the situation and They said because the cancelation period had expired they were not able to give me a refund You have los a good client

I booked online, but had to provide $50 in cash for the deposit. Had to walk across the road to a wawa to get money from atm. Clerk was on her phone video chatting while booking me. Place is dirty.

Place is very dark at night. No light on the sign at the entrance. Roach infestation. Killed no less than 20 in the few nights stay. Microwave/mini fridge/tv. Hot water works well. No coffee machine. No phone. Abandoned vehicles in the parking lot. At this price you get what you paid for just bring Raid spray.

Hallways smelled like marajuana, tv didn’t work toilet didn’t work. Called about the tv and was told there was nothing they could do. No maintenance worker. Had difficulty finding the motel. The name was econo motel not oyo motel. Only found it because I stopped there to ask directions, the picture on the website was not the same as what the facility looked like. Definitely will not go back nor use this type facility.

Hotel staff was fine, but the building was smelly. Bunch of cockroaches in my room. The room was otherwise clean. The entrance was too far for me from the hotel lobby and the lobby had a huge hole in the ceiling. Honestly, I didn’t feel safe at all walking there at night.

The building had mold and is making me sneeze, it smelled so bad in there that it was hard for me to breathe. The sheets felt dirty. It was rust in the bathroom. The hallway was scary to walk through.

Disappointing Experience Due to Maintenance Issues on October 17,2024. I recently stayed at this hotel and faced significant issues with my room that left me quite frustrated. The floor was leaking every time I used the shower, causing water to accumulate in the common area outside the bathroom. This posed a safety concern and made my stay uncomfortable. I extended my stay for another day, hoping to resolve the issue. When I approached the front desk supervisor, Misha, about changing rooms due to the unsafe conditions, I was met with a lack of empathy and a dismissive attitude. Instead of offering a solution, she informed me that maintenance would need to assess the problem but did not seem to care about my concerns. Maintenance did come by, but they only confirmed that the leak was indeed coming from my room, which was not reassuring. I felt that I should have been allowed to switch rooms immediately instead of being told to wait four hours for a resolution. This delay was unacceptable, especially after traveling such a long distance. Overall, the lack of customer service and the maintenance issues significantly impacted my experience. I expected better from this hotel, and it’s disappointing that I had to deal with such a frustrating situation during my stay. I would advise potential guests to ensure their rooms are in good condition before committing to a longer stay.
