Awesome staff, from frontdesk to housekeeping. Very walkable and convenient location to explore cities. Just small problem, walls are thin that you can hear the other person chatting in the their room, and the room was little bit warm. But still I highly recommend, this hostal if you looking to stay in Madrid. Still my hostal of choice when i go back to Madrid.

good stay overall

First, we struggled to locate this hostal as there was no visible sign along the street except for a small sign at the side of the door. We used google map to the location & unless you look closer at each sign on the gated entrances, you'll really miss it. Concierge and kitchen Staff are very friendly . Room is clean and bed is comfortable. However, the air conditioning was temperamental! woke up on nights either sweating or feeling cold! The toilet was slow draining on our 2nd night. Breakfast area is located on the neighboring door outside the building entrance which did not bother us. Breakfast is delicious,however, several of the food were not replenished promptly. The warm food containers are almost always empty when we get there by 9am. It seems that you have to be at breakfast by 7am to get the best of everything and have a place to sit in. Hostal is near the metro and bus points but we did not use them much as the main places that we visited are just walking distances. Plenty of restaurants/cafes and shopping nearby the hostal too.

Excellent location

Stayed 4nights in early May. Very central location, you can walk to almost all the main tourist attractions within 10 -20 minutes such as Puerta del Sol, Prado Museum, Plaza Mayor etc. Clean and quiet room, good shower. There is a supermarket just around the corner. Under 10 minutes walk from the metro station. The reception staff were all friendly. There was a hair dryer in the bathroom but no other amenities so don't forget to bring your own. Overall very happy with the hotel and would stay again.

Tiny gem!

Newly renovated, our small room was clean, had TV and Bar fridge, and a nice private bathroom and shower. The premium room also had an American King sized bed. The Hostel was very nicely located, close to 3 Metro stations and nearby to hundreds of shops and restaurants. We're returning to Madrid in 3 weeks and wanted to keep our options open as to where we stayed but we're gladly returning here.
