LITERALLY the LOUDEST hotel you will ever stay in.
The ONLY Pro is that you are directly on the main strip in Madrid. The MANY Cons are: - You will hear sirens and people shouting/honking/talking on the street as if they were in your room. (We literally had to wear earplugs to get any sleep.) - the walls are PAPER Thin and you will hear talking and furniture moving likes it's in your room. - This hotel is on the 5th floor and there is a single 4 person elevator in the lobby that frequently had a line so we often took the stairs. (Hope you like cardio.) - The room and bathroom were extremely tiny. - The lobby REAKED of cigarette smoke as the employee ironically sat in front of a no smoking sign. 😂 - Most of the handrails are wobbly/loose. - The TV in the room was 24" and wall mounted.

Don’t stay here!!
The only good about this Hostal is the location! That’s it! You can easily walk everywhere from it but the service and the rooms are bad. First, the hostal Is hard to find, it’s inside this building with different hotels and businesses inside, the hostal is located on the 5th floor, there’s an old elevator that takes forever to go up and only 4 can fit. So if you have your luggage with you, you have to take that elevator or go up the stairs. Once I got inside the reception, the whole place smelled like cigarettes, even though there’s a sign on the wall that says no smoking. The staff is so unfriendly. The rooms are not the ones on the pictures!! My hotel had a really thin curtain with holes in it, very annoying in the morning when I got the sun in my face. Bathroom is old, bed very hard, I was there for a week and housekeeping didn’t show up at all! The towels are so thin and stiff, they feel like sandpaper! Walls are to thin that you can hear your neighbors and the hotel is in a busy area so it’s really noisy. I will never stay there again!
