From the pre holiday correspondence, to the included airport transfers, this holiday could not have gone more smoothly. George contacted us to ensure flight times were agreed and was there to meet us. The accommodation was just as shown. The bathroom was a little basic but there were toiletries, clean towels and lots of hot water, so this was not a problem. The greeting we received from Sophia was warm and she gave help and advice throughout our stay, for which we were very grateful. We had some superb meals out in the old town at places Sophia had recommended. We welcomed her Beach recommendations and the fact that she arranged car hire for us too. The pool area was well maintained and there were always plenty of loungers - no need to put your towels out in the morning! Having breakfast included was also a bonus and the children loved the fresh doughnuts and lemon cake while we made the most of the melon, Greek yoghurt and honey option. There was something for everyone. Pool snacks were served quickly and at a reasonable price, so there was no need to move if you didn't want to. The hotel is set in a quiet location which was a relief, as we had been a little worried once we heard that Malia was an 18-30 paradise, but you didn't need to be part of that at all. 10 minutes walking will take you to the old town in 1 direction and 10 minutes the other way will take you to a street full of quieter tavernas and then down to the beach.
We all had a wonderful week and would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel.
