Village Monache on paras majoitus Mammoth-järvillä. Village Monacha sijaitsee kadun toisella puolella kylän ravintoloista, ostosmahdollisuuksista ja yöelämästä. Se on lyhyt kävelymatka gondoliin, joka vie sinut rinteisiin Mammoth Mountain, Canyon Lodge. Monache Resort avattiin ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 2008. Monache Resort on uudempi, mukavampi viimeistely ja kalusteet ja se on hiljaisempi kuin kylän asunnot.

Nauti vuoristomaisemasta parvekkeelta, aterioida White Barkissa tai vain rentoudu hotellin takan takana lasillisella viiniä katsellen lumen laskua mäntymetsissä.

Kesällä pyörän kuljetus ja vaunu ovat askeleen päässä, ja Village tarjoaa jännittäviä tapahtumia, viininmaistajaisia, konsertteja, ravintoloita ja ostosmahdollisuuksia. Spectacular ski weekend with family
The Westin is convenient to the Village Gondola. The amenities including free parking, gym, pool and spa are wonderful. The ski valet is fantastic and the 2 bedroom suite is spectacular. The checkin process is quick and easy. Our host, David, was welcoming and there for all of our needs. Will definitely stay here again!

Amazing property, great host, phenomenal location
We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful condo. It's a great setup for a family of 4-5 people with two good sized bedrooms and bathrooms, a great kitchen and a smart dining room/living room layout. The location is seriously the best - inside of Westin Monache and across the street from the gondola that takes you to the ski lifts. The best part: the gondola is free, so you can ride up and down, even if you're not skiing (which is great if you want to catch the apres ski vibe even without hitting the slopes). The village is also across the street, so you have restaurants, bars and shops all within a 1-2 minute walk. David is a great, communicative host and we appreciated the clarity and friendliness of his communication. The one thing that can be improved is the bed in the master bedroom - the memory foam mattress is very firm (which was fine for us but can be an issue for some), but more importantly it deforms if you lie in one spot for a bit longer and doesn't straighten out, making it an uneven surface. I think it can just be replaced and then everything would be ideal. We can't wait to come back next year and experience this wonderful condo and all that Mammoth has to offer!

Great unit and perfect location
Our family of four stayed here over Thanksgiving week. The unit was exactly as described - very clean, furnished well and had all the amenities we needed. The location is also perfect. Quick walk to restaurants and shops in the village. Would definitely stay here again.

Well maintained and great views
The property was clean and well equipped. The location of the unit was great with nice views, quiet and a pretty patio for morning coffee. The beds were comfortable, the appliances were well maintained, although we didn’t do any cooking. Easy access to the village ! Perfect location. The owner was quick to resolve respond to questions!! I would stay there again.

Great Condo - few issues
Everything about the condo was fantastic. It’s a clean, corner, 2 bedroom condo that has no joining walls to other condos. One side is connected to the staircase, and the other side is the balcony. Great for privacy. Its basically connected to city center, great restaurants and stores to do shopping. There’s a full kitchen, and 2 large private baths. Those are the positives. Down sides are you are staying at a major hotel (Westin) and you don’t get the full amenities when you are there, like room service, room cleaning daily, or bag boys. The biggest issue is parking. It’s a 2 bedroom suite, that fits 6, and you get 1 permit for a car. My party came in 2 cars, and it was a nightmare dealing with parking and trying to get all your possessions up to the room. But if you know that upfront, and you know it wont affect you it’s not an issue as the condo is really nice with a great view. But it was a hassle daily or every time we left trying to deal with parking when you returned. Also the elevator situation is less than ideal. You’ll be spending a lot of time waiting for an available elevator cab. And lastly, when the hotel realizes you are a VRBO guest, they treat you accordingly, you don’t feel like their guest and they will do the bare minimum for you when you need help. It felt this way anytime we needed information or guidance of how to get around the hotel, especially when you arrive and are trying to figure things out. Besides the issues, I would return. 5 stars.

This is a corner condo so it has excellent natural lighting and nice views. It was very well stocked with cooking supplies and the stove was quite efficient. The gas fireplace quickly took off the apres ski chill. The owner was highly responsive. We were very comfortable there both before and after skiing. I would gladly stay there again.

Exceeded expectations
The pictures on VRBO don't do this condo justice. It's HUGE! Much bigger than it appears in the VRBO pictures. Steps away from both The Village and the gondola. The unit comes equipped with everything you need, including a locker to store ski equipment right after you get off the gondola. Owner is responsive and very accommodating. We'll be re-booking this same exact unit for future trips.

Family snowboarding trip
This was the best location in the whole town of Mammoth. We were on the lifts from our room in about 15 minutes. No having to drive through the snow, looking for parking, and all that junk. Having the gondola right next to the condo was so convenient and was worth every penny to stay here, It made our vacation stress free and so comfortable. One of our 16 year old's legs was hurting while skiing and she wanted to go back to the room early, She was able to go back to the room safely and relax without one of us having to drive her back to a cabin or her having to wait in the ski lodge. Our kids also enjoyed the heated pool and the hot tub was great for the adults. Definitely the best place to stay in mammoth.
