Poor communication from Host
Thru VrboI texted 48 hours before check-in to ask the process of accessing unit. Heard nothing. Text again 24 hours before check-in and heard nothing. Called the phone number listed for host and left message. Finally less that 24 hours before check-in I called Vrbo to ask what to do. They contacted and left message to host. While on phone with Vrbo my sister tried calling host again and she answered. She asked what unit and when we told her she said they handle several. She rattled off the code and said she would be sending instructions later. No apologies for not responding in earlier messages. Also concerned that they must just keep the same code for entry. How many people eventually know this? Day of rental, we arrived around 2:30 (check-in 4). We ate at the restaurant at resort. We drove and saw the cleaning person still there. We drove around more. At 3:59 the cleaning person still there. At 4pm I went to door and cleaning person was finishing up. Not very happy. My sister text (by phone) some issues. Never acknowledged by host. Minor issues like one lamp missing knob in a bedroom so light would not work; broken loung chair, floor dirty in one bedroom. Also we saw menu host has for restuarant so decide to do for dinner. Menu is outdated! Nothing like what restaurant has now.
