通常の東横インのクオリティだと思いますが、他所の東横インと比較した場合、朝食の質については低評価としておきたいと思います。すぐ前のJR丸亀駅に安価で便利なスーパーマーケットがあります。近くに駅前アーケード商店街もありますが、かなりさびれているようでした。 　丸亀のお城や海側、周辺の街（金刀比羅宮、善通寺など）を観光するための拠点とするのにも便利でした。
