Comfortable Two Bedroom on the river, WIFI, Lighted Pier with beautiful sunsets!

Crab Heaven is located on the Colorado River in Matagorda, Texas. The house features a large open living area and kitchen. There are two bedrooms - one with a king and twin size bed and a 2nd bedroom with a queen and full size bed. You will enjoy a large screened in porch with views of both the Colorado River and St. Mary's Bayou. The comfortable screened in porch provides ample seating and dining space for the entire family.

Fresh, clean linens and soft towels are provided for your comfort.
Enjoy fishing and crabbing day and night on the lighted pier. For boaters, access to both East and West Matagorda Bay is a quick, easy trip. Matagorda beach is a 5 minute drive away. We are just off the main River Road on a private road. River Bend boat ramp is about a half mile away if you are needing a convenient place to launch your boat.

Video Cameras on perimeter of house and an arlo door bell. Boatlift is not available. You may use the slip, but the lift is not available

Fish and Chill
When you need to soak up a little salt water, Matagorda is the place to go. Our stay at this house suited us perfectly. The fishing was great, caught crabs from the dock, and was close to the boat ramp. Doug is great to work with, making sure we had what we needed. We look forward to coming back.

Really nice house & place to stay.
We loved the location & house was really nice. I was disappointed that in pictures it showed a boat lift & the day before we left the property manager informed me that the boat lift was not available for use which is why I rented this property to begin with.Also the TV or DVD player would not work properly the tv on got 1 channel & it cut in & out. but other than that it was a nice place. I would rent again but only if boat lift was available for use.

Nothing Crabby about Crab Heaven
This place exceeded our expectations. Check in was simple, you walk into a great big covered patio that’s screened in with an awesome breeze. Perfect place to relax and snooze after a trip to the beach or a full day of fishing. Once inside the house had every accommodation you could want. A well furnished kitchen, comfy furniture, nice cool air conditioning, games and movies for the kiddo when it was time to come inside. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were fresh. The bathroom has a nice big shower and clean fluffy towels provided. Even the decor of the place was awesome and helped round out the whole vibe. Out on the dock we were able to catch plenty of crabs and fish well into the night with the lights on. The host was great about communication and overall provided a very relaxing place to stay. We will definitely be coming back.

FISHING TRIP
This was a great place! Nice house and space outside to enjoy the coast life. Enjoyed the screened in porch to get away from those pesky mesquitos. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location and perfect house for small gathering...Outside patio was great and you couldn't get any closer to the water. Great lights at the dock and the crab traps were an added bonus.

Long weekend at the Crab House
We enjoyed a very nice Sat thru Monday weekend, the weather was great and we used the huge screen porch to eat our meals and to relax. The home was very clean when we arrived and all of the facilities worked with no issues. Granddaughter was thrilled to see Dolphins moving up and down the river in the evenings. Fishing under the lights was also good fun.

My boys loved the home. They said it was clean, the beds were very comfortable and overall was a great house. They are fisherman and the location and accommodations were perfect for them. They will definitely stay again!

Fishing weekend
Gray house for the four of us. This little hide a way was perfect. Fishing at house was good and it was close to everything we needed. Only one item that could use to be replaced was the grill. Other than that I will return and tell other to stay here as well. Thanks.

The house was clean, manager was responsive. the bed rooms are not private, lots of cameras on the property, first place i have ever stayed that did not have trash service, you have to take the trash to town and try to find a place to dump it. Charging extra for "not following the house rules" seems like a money grab.

Great Stay!
We really enjoyed our stay! House was great, fully stocked and clean! Screened porch was a great gathering spot! Had wonderful large wooden tables with benches and a seating area with ceiling fans. Fishing pier was in great shape and had lights for night fishing. The only downside is the mosquitoes that come with Matagorda! Come prepared with bug spray for yard and bodies lol.

Perfect stay
Beach house was great. We loved that it isn't a tall house because our daughter has trouble going up a lot of steps. Screened in porch was wonderful to sit outside without being attacked by mosquitoes. All In all was a wonderful stay with responsive owners. Would recommend to everyone.
