Meidän kaulamme metsässä Mearsissa, modernilla maalaismaisemalla

Metsäkaulamme on lämmin ja viihtyisä moderni maalaismainen mökki, joka sijaitsee rauhallisella alueella, lepää metsässä. Koti on myös muutaman minuutin päässä Cedar Point -puistosta ja Pentwater River State Game Game -alueelta, jossa voit nauttia retkeilyreiteistä sekä ympäröivästä villieläimestä ja luonnosta. Michigan-järvelle pääsee pienen kävelymatkan / ajomatkan päässä, <10 minuutin päässä Silver Lake -hiekkadyynistä, <20 minuutin päässä Pentwaterin pikkukaupungista ja 45 minuutin päässä Luddington State Park Beachiltä. Ympäröivältä alueelta on upeat näkymät majakkaan, upeat Michigan-järven auringonlaskut, erinomaiset hart-Montague-pyöräilyreitit, jotka toimivat myös moottorikelkana polkuina talvella, melonta, kalastus, puhumattakaan viinitiloista. Voit tehdä niin paljon ja vähän kuin haluat.

Just what the Dr. ordered!

This gem of a property was even bigger than it looked online. Extremely clean and well appointed home with everything you need and then some. It was also nice to be so close to the dunes area and the sunset at the county park is something you don't want to miss. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming to the area.

Great stay

3rd time staying here. Love the location for half the family to go to dunes, the other half across the road to lake mi beach. Love the big back deck for morning coffee or afternoon cocktail and reading. Love the firepit and walking around neighborhood.

First time in Michigan

We came to Michigan for a family vacation. We played disc golf, putt putt, and went to the amusement park. Getting to walk in the sand right along Lake Michigan was a plus! Our place was perfect! We were so close to everything we wanted to see. We all slept great and loved that we felt secluded. I would definitely come back to Mears and would stay at this beautiful home again. Beautiful, clean, relaxing

The house was perfect. We had everything we needed save a small baking pan. Everything was thoughtfully laid out and easy to find. Waking up each morning with a view of the trees was wonderful. The washer and dryer were great after a day at the beach and the kitchen was a joy to cook in. The grill on the patio was a great bonus as was the patio itself.

This house is all that is advertised. Situated in the perfect spot we are close to silver lake sand dunes but far enough away for a cozy cottage feel. Property owner is responsive and easy to work with.

Absolutely perfect

Check-in was a breeze, labels on drawers, cupboards and light switches helped us a lot. The property was quiet and peaceful. The directions for checkout were clear and easy to follow. This will definitely be our first choice when looking to book in this area again

Our Neck of the Woods

We had a wonderful vacation at Our Neck of the Woods located in Mears, MI. This is the third time my family has stayed at this property and I highly recommend it. We will definitely be back! The property is clean and the pictures are an accurate description. All the cooking necessities are included in the kitchen to cook full meals. The shower is stocked with body wash, shampoo, & conditioner. We had a relaxing vacation spending time at the beautiful beach in Pentwater, rode the dune buggies at Mac Woods, fed the animals at UP North, and enjoyed relaxing on the deck at the cabin. We had an amazing vacation!

Peace and quiet

Our family of 4 enjoyed a few nights away and thoroughly enjoyed the house! It's very modern with lots of natural lighting. The beds are comfortable and the shower is amazing! We enjoyed Silver Lake (10mins away) and Pentwater (10mins). The beach that is close by was covered in algae so we didnt swim. There are steep steps to get down to it, FYI. We enjoyed meals at Big Hart Brewing and Big Antler Bar. Owner communicated quickly for a couple issues.

I can't tell you how impressed I was with the house, the neighborhood and the overall thoughts that went into thinking of every little thing that we could possibly need. The owner was very accommodating and literally thought of everything that someone staying would need. I would definitely recommend this house again to anyone thinking of staying in the Mears area.

Great Cabin

Very nice, and clean cabin. This cabin was one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed at. Everything was what they said it was. Super close to Pentwater, Ludington, and Silver Lake Sand Dunes. The driveway fit three trucks and trailers great too. The house had more then enough room for 9 people to stay. It was an amazing cabin, and will definitely book again.

Beautiful, comfortable house!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The house is luxurious - well-appointed and beautifully decorated, obviously primarily the owners’ own ideal vacation home rather than just a house for renting out. We had chilly, windy weather in August that made us spend more time inside than planned, and we were happy to have such a lovely, comfortable place to be.

Great getaway

The house is tucked in a quiet wooded neighborhood and is still close to everything! Loved being able to just walk down the road to the beach. The place is full of amenities and the host was easy to communicate with. I would recommend this place to all!
