Second time staying at Novotel and we are always impressed with its services and facilities. The staff are friendly and helpful and the location is perfect for shopping and food. The gym could use an upgrade but overall, it’s a great stay.

Good location and lovely hotel
Great location at Southbank if you are doing DFO shopping. There are plenty of restaurants and Cafes close by. Comfortable accommodation & great friendly service. A bit annoying that you need to get 2 lifts to get to your floor but it won’t stop me staying here again. Car parking is expensive in the DFO car park. It’s a discounted rate if you are staying at the hotel but still $50 a night!

Great hotel & convenient location.
Lovely hotel, very comfortable, convenient location to DFO shopping & restaurants. Right next door to convention centre. The price was very reasonable for a Friday & Saturday night end of December and cheaper than others around the area. Friendly staff. Only downside was that it was a bit of a mission to get to your room as reception is on level 5, so you take a lift from foyer to level 5, then you walk past reception to another lift to get to the rooms. No biggie, but just a bit of added time doing the lifts.

This property is outstanding. Great place to stay in Melbourne. Shops and food across the road and a short, pleasant walk to trams if you want to head up to the city. Lovely staff.
