Nice welcome
We were warmly greeted on arrival. The only downside was we were given just one key to the apartment which meant both my husband and I had to leave and return at the same time or one of us would be locked out.
Great location, close to some very nice cafes and bars. Unit was well presented, a decent size and very clean.

Where’s my security bond?
Security bond still hasn’t been returned and it’s now 4 weeks since my stay (The apartment was left in a clean & presentable state on my departure). I have phoned twice and also emailed but still haven’t had a resolution.
During the stay the apartment was never cleaned, no fresh towels or sheets the entire trip even though the manager was contacted with a request to do so.
The overall condition of the apartment was pretty good apart from the loose front door that would rattle in the middle of the night & sound like someone was trying to get in. The condition of the bed was not acceptable & uncomfortable.
Wouldn’t stay again because of the lack of service & care on managements behalf.

Great Melbourne City alternative
The place is good value for the money. It is a little tired here and there but overall very good and convenient to the city and restaurants. Tram stops out the front 50 metres away
Good location, very clean room. Slight leak on both taps (shower and kitchen) but not so you couldn't use them.

One item let the show down
Often stay at Mason. This time dishwasher out of order and filled with black waste water. Hmm. Everything else good. I would continue staying at Mason. Always good value for money.

Needs some TLC - laundry cupboards missing door handles, the lifts smelt of some toxic chemicals the cleaners must be using and had to cover mouth to ride in them, and the bathroom bin had the last guest's rubbish in.
The apartment was great! Perfect size for 2 people. Situated great! Close enough to the city and right next to the tram which made it all the all easier! Check in was quick and easy. Really great all round experience. Very pleased.
It was hard to find the property initially, and parking was very limited. Everything else was great. The toaster didn’t work! Would recommend this property.

The check in time ( 2pm to 5pm) was very restrictive, this could be improved. The room was well appointed with plenty of space. It was clean but not spotless but no one could complain about the price.
This place felt like home , first time spending a night in Melbourne apartment , and I wish I stayed longer. Only thing I didn’t like was how it was hard to get a hang of the supervisor that was in charge.
New, modern apartment. Some issues with cleanliness - there was a empty pizza box ieaning on outside of a glass panel at end of hallway. Duvets on beds had no covers. Reasonably clean otherwise. No heaters in bedrooms so a bit chilly at night. Location was good though - close to some good cafes & tram station.
The room itself was okay, clean, the hallways looked scratched up and uncared for. Looked like they had just finished mopping and wiping down the room when I arrived as it was still a bit wet. There was 1 staff member to help everyone arriving and she didn't even have a desk- she had to kneel on the floor to do the paperwork. I think the managers could care more for their staff and the property. I'm not used to the Melbourne cold and like it warm when I sleep. But the only heater was in the living room so I had to blast the heat and keep the bedroom door open to stay warm. No extra blanket provided in a cupboard.
Overall, it looks like they are trying, but they could use one more person to maintain the property and keep one person on customer service.
