Although we loved the property and location, the communication with the property manager and the property managers staff were terrible.
We arrived around 6pm and got settled in. We decided to do dinner out that evening since it was late and we were too tired. Upon arriving back from dinner we noticed we only had one remote for two TV’s, no big deal since the remote could control both TV’s, however there was no remote for the cable box so the tv’s had one channel to watch. Still no big deal at the time because it was late and we were tired. We did notice the toilet seat was broke but figured we would call the next morning have that repaired and the remote for cable box brought up.
Next day we found the safe did not work, the light was out above the shower, and there were not dish towels to hand wash anything. Still, no big deal because we could have those minor things taken care of at some point that day.
Sadly, it took 3 days to get the safe fixed, 4 days to get a cable box remote, and still couldn’t get the toilet seat fixed or get the light above the shower changed out. We even asked multiple times to just give us a light bulb and we’d fix it ourselves. Oh, and I was told no dish towels are provided for this unit. I would text in the morning and get a response but then never hear back from anyone. Then I would text again around 2 for a following up and not get any response at all. I’d text again the next day and get a response hours later stating they would resolve the issues, then never hear back. I’d text again around 2 or 3 with no response the rest of the day. I finally called and said I want to leave early. We then get a call from the manager asking what they can do to make this right - 5 days later! He called the owner who graciously let us leave one day early and not charge us a cleaning fee. What a joke!
Not to mention, I went back to the property the next day because I set a spa appointment up and while waiting on the elevator (which takes FOREVER) I had small talk with another person staying there at the property. I made the comment how slow the elevators were and she immediately said she would never go back, that her stay has been nothing but a headache. I told her I couldn’t agree more! Not sure what she went through but I can only image.
The whole experience over such small items and total lack of communication made this stay not enjoyable. It was just a ridiculous hassle over all.
