When I open the room door moldy smell was first. Next is coffee machine - it does not working and I couldn’t use. This means their management is lazy or not proper. Front desk has coffee machine but you have to pay. And cup is too small to feel coffee taste. Room is so small. Just bed and small bathroom. That’s all.

Casa oceans was a modest hotel to stay in for a night. I had different interactions with staff throughout my stay, some being excellent and some being less than. I was concerned about the severely strong smell when arriving both in the lobby as well as my room, that smelt like a rough attempt to cover up a mold outbreak with multiple cans of extra strong Lysol. The hotel seemed above the price I would typically pay for the available amenities and condition of it but it was very strategically placed in a nice street walking distance from a lot of restaurants and very close to the ocean. The staff was kind enough to watch our luggage and lend us towels when we went to the beach after our allotted time at the hotel passed.

Nice small hotel close to everything in Miami Beach. Paper thin walls made sleeping difficult because you could hear everything from the room next to you.

The gentleman at the front desk was kind enough to help with our bags. Very very quick to address any problems as well. My only complaint is that it isn’t very sound proof but it wasn’t that big of a deal.

Pre cruise stay

We needed a pre cruise night in Miami and Casa Ocean seemed a reasonable option. Good south beach location and clean room with everything we needed for a one night stay. Only downside was a damp smell and I noticed there was an attempt at air freshener in the lobby but it was still strong.

We loved how easy it was to enter and exit the property using a unique code. The decor was very cutesy. We also loved that it was walking distance to the beach as well as restaurants and retail stores. We will definitely be staying again!

Great property, my first time using a keyless property. They made it easy with great informative texts on how to use the codes at the doors. Walls were a bit thin; I could hear the next door guests. Rooms were very quiet otherwise

It was great for getting up in the morning and heading straight to the beach or nearby Starbucks. Citi Bike stand very near us. Great restaurants along Ocean Dr. We were there on NYE which was amazing and fun! Really, mostly good but here are the demerits. Not a single drawer in the room, no elevator, no parking, only half a pane of glass in the shower so there was no way to avoid a wet floor and bath mat.

Property smelled extremely musty. Everything felt slightly damp. Walls were thin/uninsulated so you could hear nighttime activities from the room next door during the night. Location was good and staff were friendly but this couldn’t make up for odor, dampness, and noise.
