The immediate area of the hotel is fine, but a few blocks west is very sketchy.
2 days after I left, I received notice that they put a charge on my card. I called the hotel directly and was informed I committed a deposit violation: either smoking, damages or drinking a bottle of water, and I could speak to a supervisor if I wanted to have this corrected. The phone number I was given for a supervisor was a general number/call center. When I called the front desk to verify the number I was informed the supervisor is very busy and I should just email. Very convenient that the penalty was added 2 days after I left and had no way of addressing the false accusation. Waiting to see if they fix this.
