Would not recommend
This was not what I expected. The place needed a serious deep cleaning. Cob webs on the ceiling even on the inside of the door when you first walk in. The base boards had an accumulation of dust and dirt. The vents had much build up of dust and dirt on all. Walls were scratched up. The comforter needed cleaning which made us not comfortable sleeping in the bed. Luckily I had disposable sheets. Someone added water to the soap in the bathroom and the bathroom window doesn’t have a curtain or blind. The host may be a nice person and i understand making extra cash but do it right. On our first stay there were crumbs under the tv and a rolled up tea wrapper which says no one is cleaning thoroughly. Tried to cancel our return visit but the host said we couldn’t. I would not recommend. We got a hotel room instead

Depends on what you are looking for
Neighborhood is nice. And it depends on what you are looking for. While we just wanted a place to lay our heads, the place could use a deep cleaning. The comforter needs to be washed and the place overall needs to be repainted and base boards and vents wiped from the excessive dust. It’s not the worst but just wasn’t what we were looking for. I’m sure the host is a nice person and I respect the hustle of making side money, and the this place may be ok for others, I just feel if you’re going to do it do it right like change the welcome sign that has a stain on it on the table and Cobb webs on the ceiling and at the door entrance.

Good room, might be a little higher priced than what it should be. Normally you get althe same or better than if you stay at a hotel, this was a clean place and it was ok, but i feel i couod have spent the same amount for a hotel and had better quality.

Everything was nice. Cleanliness was great.. I absolutely loved the bathroom with the huge mirror. Only thing I didn't care for was how low the toilet is other than that everything was great. Excellent location. Quiet even with the airport nearby still was quiet. I definitely would stay again however Miami is not for me.stay agon

More like semi private
As others have said, the mattress is in need of replacement. Everything in the bathroom worked and the water temperature was great. The ac worked amazingly which was much appreciated given how hot it can get. The proximity to calle ocho and downtown Miami was ideal. The reason I state this is more like a semi private room is because there is just a door that separates this room from the rest of the house. You can hear the comings and goings of the other occupants as well.

Perfect for what was needed
We stayed overnight for a cruise in the morning. Check in was smooth. It was a room with a bathroom, we only stayed a night so it served its purpose. WiFi and tv worked just fine.

Nice Location and owner is super nice
Just had a few complaints for this property. There was a tv, and fridge, and some other things, but nothing was plugged in and i couldn't find a plug, other than on the other side of the room. Wifi was not really working but that could have been user error. The location is great, super quick walk to little havana. For the price, this property is worth it, just had a few complaints about it.

A couple days in Miami
My son and I came down to enjoy a couple days in Miami. This spot was great! Easy check in, great communication with host. 5 minutes from Calle Ocho. Ubered to Kaseya Center for a Heat game. Great location to get to places we wanted to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Just what we needed
This quaint little guest room worked out perfect for us. Arriving late in the evening from Miami airport and leaving early in the morning for a cruise made this little room perfect for us. Uber was super easy to get there and then to the cruise terminal. it was clean and the bed was comfortable and air-conditioning worked we will definitely stay there again on our next cruise.

Unexpected complications
When we arrived at the Vrbo, there was no electricity for hours. The property manager was considerate enough to comp our stay if the electricity could not be brought back on but thankfully it came back hours later. Communicating with the property manager wasn't the easiest process as we had additional minor issues with the wifi and shower. The location is in Little Havana near Calle Ocho so there are some good restaurants nearby but it is a pricey Uber ride if you are trying to get to downtown Miami.

Nice place
We needed a place to stay for one night before our cruise the next day. I didn’t like the Miami hotel prices I was finding so I looked on VRBO & found this gem. We found lots of choices nearby for dinner and also breakfast. There is a kitchenette but we didn’t need it. The bathroom is nice & big. The bed is super comfortable. The owner was extra helpful when I realized I left a small mirror there after we left. Parking is in the driveway.
