Lovely area , apartment very clean , but needs to be updated
We rent in this area and in these apartments at least 3-4 times a year , it's a great base for a holiday as it's in between fuengerola and marbella so you've great choices for beaches and restaurants etc along with a great choice of local ones too. We have booked with the homeaway app dozens of times and never before did we have to pay extra charges on the day we collected the keys for sheets,electricity and cleaning usually those costs are worked into the overall price you pay in the weeks before you go , just to make people aware sheets and bath towels are an extra cost ,as too is electricity and cleaning , so factor this into your final price because we didnt , dealing with everyone from "homesontheweb" was a pleasant experience and I couldn't fault them one bit. It was also the first time we had to go out and buy beach towels as every apartment we have ever booked has always included bedding and towels (who brings bedding on holidays?), there was also no microwave, dishwasher, or hairdryer and most important for kids especially WIFI , had we have known we would have maybe chosen a different apartment. The apartment was clean and tidy but could do with being brought into the 21st century , we'll definitely stay in gran calahonda again but unfortunately not in this apartment .
