Not a great experience.....
Booked this for a half term family holiday for October 12th -19th 2018. Communication not great from the owner, no emails apart from the standard payment request. I had to initiate the week before we were due to arrive to ask for keys etc Advertised with communal pools and garage space and Wii....TAKE NOTE.... Wii controls didn't have working batteries and no replacements in the apartment. Pools are closed from 1st October and the garage space wasn't available as the owners car was parked in the space, which we weren't informed about on booking or on the advertisement.
We had friends who own an apartment on the same complex that were on holiday at the same time as us and if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have been able to get into the complex as it's gated and we didn't receive a key before we left. They also know the groundsman and spoke to him on arrival to ask if they could use the pool, the grounds hadn't been mowed or pools cleaned but he said he would clean the small pool for us to use on Monday. An area of grass was mowed and the small pool cleaned of debris and frogs allowing the kids to use it. Tuesday morning however we were then told that complex rules were being enforced and the pool area wouldn't be available.
Owner not helpful or sympathetic to not advertising the apartment correctly. On contact we asked for some compensation as it's a distance to travel by car to the nearest beach (that you have to pay a minimum of 5 euros per lounger for) As our flight was a late one the response was - they would waive the late check out fee!!...
There is also no mention of what time you need to check out so beware of them charging a late checkout fee.
We would have been able to use our friends apartment to store our luggage until we departed if we'd had known what the check out time was, as I've said very poor communication. Shame as apartment was well equipped and clean.
