Pretty shabby and worn.
I’ve stated other Microtel before, but this one was pretty shabby and old. The room was also slightly smaller than normal and the “desk“ was almost nonexistent, and desperately need of repair. The power went out due to a storm, and though the electricity came on a few minutes later, Wi-Fi and any television service were completely gone for the rest of my stay. There was no apology about it, just a shrug of the shoulders. The morning “breakfast“ was pretty bad, look like it was thrown together, and definitely on the cheap. The people at the front desk were bored, jaded, and just going through the motions . I don’t think I will ever be using this particular location ever again.

We stayed one night after landing from the uk. Ideal little place not far from the airport. Walmart is located over the road so we were able to stock up on food and treats before we went off on our road trip. Breakfast was good; set us up for the day. Everything was easy…check in etc. perfect for us.

While the room decor was older styled it did not take away from the fact that the beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The front desk was friendly. The only downside was the breakfast was very minimal but the proximity to Mall of America and downtown makes it a worthwhile place to stay!

Staff was very nice and welcoming when we arrived. The room felt a little old and outdated. We were happy the beds were clean. We weren’t happy with the breakfast spread. We were hoping for more.

Place is noisy.can hear clearly the neighbors rooms moaning loud and noisy step walk from the upstairs. End the end make me woke up all the time no good sleep. But the room is clean. Its by walmart thats the best part.

It was quiet & convenient to where we were going. The breakfast was lacking it was all carbs, green bananas, no other fruit, no yogurt or anything healthy.

The place was a good value stay, rooms are clean and comfortable, not to many other perks though. If you just need a bed and bathroom that's clean, this is your place. If you're looking for perks like pool, breakfast, or bars/restaurant within walking distance. Not so much
