These bungalows and main home and Fairhope are the the things that inspired Norman Rockwell paintings. The location is one of the best and the front porch alone is worth the stay.
With a porch swing, rockers and a table we spent several relaxing days on the porch remotely working while enjoying a vacation location. On the days we didn't work we spent exploring this quiet town and driving an hour to the beach.
If you love the beach but tire of the touristy thing 24/7, these bungalows allow you to enjoy the beach and escape it in the evenings. The best part of downtown Fairhope is it's all locally owned mom and pop shops instead of big chains.
The property was clean - smelled fantastic courtesy of the Bay Candle store. The kitchen is shared and well equipped. There is a firepit outdoors for the cooler weather. This is a great place to unwind and find great food, shopping (Bass Pro and associated stores, Tanger Outlet mall, OWA amusement park and shopping) Gulf Shores and Pensacola all within an hour.
