We stayed in this apartment for 90 nights, March-June, 2022. Overall, the property is very much as advertised. Nice large two-bedroom unit, on the water in a quaint little town near Monaco. Lots of great restaurants nearby.
For context, in addition to this 90-night stay, we have rented 100's of nights in VRBO/AirBnB”s throughout the world, always enjoying our experiences and have never had any difficulties or challenges. In this unit, there were small issues, such as no user documentation in the unit and limited cleaning supplies, but these were minor and not relevant.
Our only challenge was with the landlord who not only appeared to be unwilling to take responsibility for the problems, but was seemingly and somewhat wanting to blame the renters. For instance, the dishwasher, whose interior contained significant rust did not operate, however the owner accused us of breaking it. A bathroom sink leaked continually throughout our stay, yet somehow the owner indicated that we caused this. A key, we lost on the beach was returned in just 48 hours, but was deemed no longer usable. We scrubbed the unit including a tedious effort on the kitchen grout, however the landlord deemed this as leaving the unit in shambles. Fortunately, by this point we knew to take videos.
During a significant windstorm, which are common and cool, my wife stepped out on the balcony forcing a wind tunnel through our unit causing an interior door to slam breaking the glass. In fairness, I own this, an expense of about 200-300€, however the landlord claimed not only my $500€ damage deposit, but also arbitrarily charged my Amex for an additional 520€ with no backup or explanation other than a “ you broke my dishwasher, my door, lost my key and did not clean my apartment”.
In closing, it is a very nice unit in a great location, however plan to take lots of videos and documentation.
