Hotel is located on a very busy noisy street. It's across the street from a public beach (with lots of garbage) but crossing the street is hazardous. It's walking distance to the hip strip, Doctor's Cave Beach
There's always loud music from the spa or the bar next door so be sure to bring ear plugs.
We didn't have any hot water for the first 2 days of our stay. I would have appreciated the staff to inform us of the issue at check-in. No compensation was given for the situation. Even once resolved, the water pressure was low.
Most staff members are pleasant and friendly but a few appear to be annoyed at the presence of guests.
Be sure to securely close lock your room door and use the in-room safe. A man tried to come into our room while we were there, when confronted he said he had the wrong room.. but an instant later asked if I could 'help him'. He then roamed elsewhere and sat in the lounge area. When informed of his presence, the hotel staff escorted him out.
The room was small and could use some freshen up. The bathroom door didn't close completely and we had to remind the staff a few times to bring us clean towels after they took away the dirty ones.
The included breakfast is convenient, basic and rather small.
