This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. when we moved in, the whole room was dirty, there was no water bottles. We had to ask the cleaning lady for water and she gave us two tiny bottles of water. And the whole place was so loud we couldn’t sleep at night. There were so many ants in the bed that we couldn’t complete our stay so we had to book a different hotel and left. We left three days before our checkout day and the Hotel refuse to refund us for those three days.Also ,whenever you take a shower water gets everywhere. I took pictures of the room , the ants on the bed , and the conditions of the bathroom after showering. So I’ll be calling my credit card company and I’ll give them all evidence and request a refund.I’m going to be working with my credit card company to get that refund because it is not my fault that the hotel wasn’t up expectation. I hated it and I’m telling everyone I know in the US not to book the hotel. Please save your money for a better place.

Nice hotel on hip strip
Very nice hotel as far as aesthetics, size of room, parking availability, etc. It is located very close to a nightclub and on the strip, so be prepared for loud noise throughout the night between music and motorcycle/car noise. Breakfast was nice to be included and overall tasty (Jamaican options available as well as toast/bacon/eggs). There is not beach access from the hotel but can pay to go to a nice beach about a 7-8 minute walk.

Staffing issues prevailed whilst there. There was no holiday but staff were no-show...The MOD tried to streamline, but it was hard. Breakfast service was therefore slow our room was not cleaned for 3 of the 7 days. Once staffing levels went back to normal, you could see the difference. Pool area cleaned, staff was less rushed, and everything was nice (again). I do think they need the cabinet guy, to redo the surfaces...just an aesthetic choice...

This was my first time at this hotel. The hotel and facilities were excellent. The hotel's restaurant food was delicious every time. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was cleaned daily, which was a plus, and they provided clean towels when they cleaned. The only downside was they did not provide beach towels. Besides that excellent, excellent hotel.

I can appreciate the effort of this property and it met my needs however it is far from a boutique hotel. It has tremendous potential and I can see the vision but there is still so much work to do. As a solo traveler I felt safe. The room had cold AC, plenty hot water and a way to secure the door. My room had a balcony and faced the ocean. Narda was fantastic and provided exceptional service during breakfast. I did not dine for lunch or dinner. There are a handful restaurants in the area but you can use hotel transportation to get around. The pool on the roof top is deteriorating but again has potential. You can walk to Doctors Cave Beach in under 10 min. There is a fee; chair and entrance $15, they accept cards. The beach has restrooms and a bar. The staff was and location were the best parts of Hotel 39. I am however excited to see once the renovations are fully completed how this property will look like. I would stay again if I was looking for an easy quick stay.
