We stayed at Monterey Hotel for 3 nights and there were few things that bothered a lot and was inconvinient.
1. The most prominent one was the fake promise. At the time of checkin the receptionist said the coffee and water bottles are complimentary and there is no limit on it. Now that doesn't mean I wanted to just keep drinking water or coffee and water. On the very first day I asked them for 2 water bottle and they gave me, all good so far. but after that for rest of the 3 days they ran out of bottle and didn't care to refill it.
2. There are two parts to the building which I realized later, old and new. The old building is three stories high and doesn't have an elevator. There is one in the new building but then you need to walk from there to old one with few more stairs to climb. It specially becomes difficult with stroller and toddlers.
3. While taking a shower if you have set the temperature to warmer side you might get some very hot water or very cold water in between. Which can burn you.
4. They don't have a parking space, you will have to pay for the parking and a little walk to the parking area didn't feel that safe once it was dark.
Even though we didn't spend a lot of time staying in the hotel, due to all these issues coming back to the hotel was not very exciting.
