Welcome to Brookside! This cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo is conveniently located on the first floor at The Cove at Walden along the shore of Lake Conroe. This completely refreshed condo has the amenities to make your stay enjoyable and comfortable. Includes 2 Queen beds, a sleeper sofa, fresh bed linens and towels, pool towels, washer/dryer, 3 Smart TV's, Wi-Fi, clothing steamer, a stocked kitchen to include a toaster, blender, mixer, Kuerig, coffee, tea, cream and sugar. Along with basic spices. Enjoy the private patio or deck along the side of a small babbling brook. Take a short, leisurely walk to the water's edge to enjoy the lake view.
The Cove has a swimming pool on site! The lake and boat ramp are within 2 minute walk! You can tie your boat up at The Cove's private dock.
The Walden Community has a variety of restaurants and bars, from upscale attire to flip-flops.
-Cafe on the Green (1 mile) on the golf course, inside and out side dining.
-Big Bertha's (1.5 miles) bar, with the best burgers
-Walden Lakeview Dining (2.6 miles) overlooks the lake, upscale dining
-Breakwater Grill (2.7 miles) overlooks the lake, inside and outside dining
-Margaritaville Resort (1.3 miles)

If you will be bringing a boat or jet ski, please let us know in advance. The trailer/boat/vehicle can be parked overnight at the boat ramp, but will require a parking sticker. We will need the license plate number of the trailer in advance to obtain the required parking sticker. The parking sticker, the gate card to access the boat ramp, and detailed directions to the boat ramp will be waiting for you upon check-in. There will be a $25 non-refundable fee will be required. This fee will include unlimited access for your entire stay.

Weekend Getaway
My family and I wanted a weekend away. We went to the Renaissance Festival and Santa's Wonderland. We needed a place to stay that wasn't too far of a drive. This property was perfect. I appreciated the 2 bathrooms in each room, the cleanliness of the place, the additional bedding provided for the couch pullout, the snacks and water that were shared with us!

The area behind the condo is beautiful. The condo is super cute and the hostes left us snacks and water. She was also quick to respond to text. Only thing we could critique would be the pull out sofa was very uncomfortable. But other than that it is perfect. We would definitely recommend.

Hurricane Beryl & Gold Medal Hospitality!
We highly recommend Monica and Chris as genuine, friendly and gracious hosts — and we never even stayed in the condo! Hurricane Beryl knocked out the power for millions in the greater Houston area and that included “Walden on Lake Conroe” during our intended stay. Monica offered us a room at their personal home or flashlights and a rent-free stay in the condo! We ended up finding a room with extended family and the wedding went on as scheduled. We remain grateful for the kindness and concern shown by Monica and Chris. Thank you! We plan to be back and look forward to staying in the condo next time! Joanie and Mike

Overall good
Overall was a clean, charming place. Hosts were helpful when I had user error problems getting in. Good safe location. Only downside would be if you like softer beds as both beds and couch were very very firm. Would definitely stay again.

Fun place!
Really enjoyed our time here. Loved the little creek water feature. Beds were very comfortable, very close to shopping and restaurants, just a 2 minute walk to the lake. There are mosquitoes but they have plenty of mosquito armor. Monica and Chris were very gracious hosts—would love to stay here again!

Perfect stay for wedding
We attended a friend's wedding nearby at the Luminaire. This was the perfect location, as it was less than 15 mins from the venue. Nice and quiet area, with adequate grocery stores etc just a short drive from the condo. The patio has a nice view of nature that is serene. The bedrooms both had comfy beds, the kitchen was well appointed, bathrooms well stocked, everything we needed was there. The owners were prompt to respond as needed. We would stay here again!

Perfect for a weekend getaway!

This property was everything the listing it said it would be and more. It’s a very cozy 2 bedroom, but still allows for private spaces to get away from the rest of the group as needed. The fact that there are some small amenities provided sets this unit apart from other properties, and we really appreciated the small touches - like cotton swabs in the bathroom, and a couple bottles of water in the fridge upon arrival, among other things. The hosts were also available if anything was needed through our stay. Thank you!

Great condo!
Great getaway location: nice clean condo, lots of restaurants close by. We were in the area to attend the Texas Renaissance Festival. The drive to the festival wasn't bad-around 30 minutes. Wifi was good; snacks, water and ice provided by the hosts was very thoughtful. The view of the wooded area off the patio was beautiful. We would definitely stay again.
