A great location. Very Friendly staff. Clean accommodation BUT dated. Good options at complimentary breakfast buffet. I wasn't happy with our room with a Terrace (which i had romanticized to being a quaint spot with flowers and greenery. NOT) i was SO happy they were able to move my husband and i to the 6th floor where we had an actual view and light coming into our suite. I would recommend a stay here based on its location & staff

This hotel is a motel presented as a 4 star property. Every picture you see online is completely false and deceiving. Run down would generous to say. Washrooms are dirty and moldy. Wallpaper is peeling off. Rooms are dark and you stare into somebody’s office. The smell throughout the hotel is horrible. This is not just a complaint because I was mistreated. This property quite frankly, ruined my vacation because I hated sleeping and staying in these rooms. The only good side was the decent breakfast and location but rest assured, it’s one of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in and I’m an average type hotel traveller

The location is fantastic. The front desk staff were very helpful. Our suite was clean and comfortable. The sitting area was a little small, but the tarrasse was large. Would definitely come back

Over the past 15 years we’ve stayed here several times for the reasons most people do: convenient to the Old Port, parking next door, reasonable price. At our recent stay – 5 years since our last – we’ve really seen how the hotel has declined. The rooms have a slight old-hotel smell. The bathrooms are old and anti-skid pads in the bathtub are worn and look dirty. The mattress seemed old and lumpy. One of the two elevators was broken while we were there. Breakfast has been scaled back (but still decent). The hotel is obviously still popular with tour groups; it was hard to find a seat when they descended on the breakfast room. When we had a problem with our air conditioner, the sole person at the front desk (who had only been there two weeks) had trouble finding someone with the authority to find us a new room. It’s surprising that Marriott has let this hotel decline to this level.

Great property in a great location! Parking is available right at this centrally located hotel in the heart of Old Montreal. I would highly recommend this hotel - includes a decent continental style breakfast, too! Oh, and the coffee is very good. We would stay here again when visiting the area.
