Not good value for the price.. limited pet friendly rooms.. carpet at door entry was shredded.. very rundown.. pictures on Expedia website very misleading.. found a piece of plastic in the soup of the day at the in-house restaurant and not everything on the menu was available. Would not recommend.

The room was very hot, no air in our room, maple bugs in our room, bar closes at 8 which is disappointing. All staff that were working were very nice. Bunch of staff were locked out 386 days when we asked reception they said they choice to be there. We were told aboutvit day of our stay. We talked to the workers and one has been there 20 years they want to lower ther pay. after new owners.

Older hotel, somewhat dated but a great value! pool and got tub clean. Restaurant on site and others nearby. Close to trans canada for easy on and off. Comfortable beds and very friendly staff. Would stay again for the price.

We booked our stay online, arriving late evening and leaving the next morning. In the morning the hotel was almost deserted. At breakfast, we were surprised to see a van outside indicating that there was a labour action taking place and the employees of the hotel had been locked out. Our server was lovely but I was further surprised that she was a temporary foreign worker whose employment, I would think, is contingent on there being no available Canadian citizens to do the job. I went to speak with the locked out employees- as of September 2024 they had been locked out over 370 days. Expedia should indicate when this type of situation exists before booking, we would have chosen another hotel rather than cross the worker’s picket line.
