Oyster Shack by the Bay / 4 minutes to Morehead City Waterfront/Big Rock Landing

This immaculate 2 bedroom, 1 & ½ bath cottage, including an enclosed double car garage, is located within minutes of downtown Morehead City’s waterfront and all the fun activities and restaurants it has to offer. The cottage can house 4 people comfortably, and I just recently replaced the couch with a sleeper sofa that can accommodate 2 additional guests. It is in a transitional neighborhood and within walking distance of the Calico Creek Boardwalk and Morehead City Waterfront where the Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament and NC Seafood Festival are held each year. Many other water accesses are close by, including the Intracoastal Waterway and sandy beaches overlooking it. Historic Beaufort is 9 minutes away by car.

The cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, high speed internet, and 3 smart TVs. There is also a gas grill and all kinds of equipment to enjoy the beach or try your hand at catching fish or crabs. Bring your boat as there is parking space for 3 cars and a boat with trailer.
Well behaved dogs are welcome for an extra fee. There is a fenced in area for them at the cottage and there is also an off-leash City dog park close by.

The warmest Host & prettiest Home!
We stayed for New Year’s Eve and Day and ended up extending our stay because the home and Host are both extraordinary. We could not have asked for a better experience. We were welcomed as a family of 4 (2 couples) and our fur babies too. All of us were greeted with a fully stocked home, everything you could need or dream of is waiting for you and the decor is so charming and the beds are a DREAM!, you will sleep like babies. It’s a super clean home, smelled heavenly. The location was perfect for us, so close to Morehead’s waterfront and restaurants. And so close to the bridge to Atlantic Beach as well. The view of the water from the living room is beautiful too ! We were not expecting that. The neighborhood is super quiet and peaceful. Some older homes are on this street as well as newer ones, very few were occupied when we were there. We felt thankful and fortunate to have found this wonderful home to end 2024 and begin 2025. THE kindest host/homeowner you will ever have the true blessing of interacting with. She was always just a message away if we had any questions and always had quick and warm reply. You will only need to bring your toothbrush and clothes at this home.It has the most well stocked kitchen and pantry and fridge we’ve ever encountered. And the bathrooms have an abundance of towels and toiletries. She even had a case of bottled water in the fridge for us and 6 rolls of extra paper towels and brand new dog food, new dog toys and treats! We felt spoiled!

This was by far the best experience I’ve ever had with a VRBO rental. The house was exactly as described, well stocked and cared for. Way too many extras to list! Lovely View in a Quiet Neighborhood
We came up to Morehead City to enjoy the NC Seafood Festival and really enjoyed our stay here. The home has a great view, the home is clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. Wonderful place
This was our 2nd stay at Pamela's place. It's a wonderful house and it's stocked with everything imaginable. Truly, from kitchen to bathroom to beach toys she has it covered! This location was all it was advertised to be. I aggressively with others that it was excellent. The host seemed to think of everything and then some. The home is beautifully decorated. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked. Another time I would love to take advantage of all the extras in the garage. Coastal Getaway
The location of this house was perfect for us! My husband and I came to do a little fishing and relaxing. This property is close to everything we wanted. This is one of the most well stocked and comfortable homes I have ever stayed. We arrived to a sweet welcome with so many goodies left by the host. Pam, the owner, was easy to communicate with and prompt with a response about the ice maker. The home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Beds were very comfortable and had crisp linens. Bathrooms had great toiletries and plush towels. The kitchen was well stocked and she even left an amazing welcome package of snacks! I felt my two dogs were very welcomed; clean dog beds in every room, dog bowels and even dog toys!! The location is great; walk to the municipal park and pier. Quiet neighborhood and close to everything. The rental was amazing!
