Cozy and comfy little house!
This is a tiny gem! It's small, but it is extremely well laid out. Two of us (not a couple) stayed with one of us sleeping in the bedroom and the other on the sofa bed, and there was plenty of room for both of us. The neighborhood is safe and very quiet. There are some restaurants right around the corner, and the house is even within walking distance of downtown Mt. Dora and the lakefront parks. The big yard was great for the dog, and the surrounding streets are not busy and safe for dog walking. Would definitely stay again!

Very close walking to 3 restaurant s. Bikes were a plus for going to down town and sight seeing. Nice antique shop close walking from house. Was comfy and cute cottage.

Bright, clean, comfortable cottage with attractive remodel. Responsive host. When weak front door keyless lock battery caused the lock to stop working the first night, he had spare battery in the house. I was able to replace battery and get the lock working. I suggest a full shade on front door for privacy at night.

Loved the area!
The location was perfect, close to local restaurants and short drive to beautiful parks/downtown Mt Dora. Everything was very clean. The home is quite small, so good for couples or small family. Very cozy. Obviously an older house but has been renovated beautifully without taking from its vintage style. If I ever have to stay in Mt Dora again I would love to stay here.

Long weekend stay in Mt Dora.
My husband and I with our dog stayed at the Pink House for four days. When we arrived and saw the outside it looked very tiny, but when we walked in it felt very spacious and bright. A really lovely house, It’s been very tastefully renovated with some of the original touches left. It’s equipped with everything one needs. There is a sitting area out front where we had coffee every morning. It is a 15-20 minute walk to the center of town and the lake, there are several free public parking areas near town. There are two casual bar/restaurants a block away from the house.

We had a wonderful stay…it was our first time in Mt Dora and the Pink House was in the perfect location! Steve had given us some restaurant recommendations and they didn’t disappoint! The house was extremely clean and comfortable…we hope to stay again in the near future.

Old Florida Getaway
The Pink House was in the perfect location for our visit to the area. We thoroughly enjoyed Mount Dora, as well as the Antique & Classic Boat Show in neighboring Tavares. We could walk or bike to excellent restaurants and music venues.
