The Grove Retreat (Mtn. Grove, MO)

Perfect for a few nights or even a few weeks. Close to the city Square and within walking distance to Dollar General. Your stay will include Free WiFi as well as Netflix, Pandora, and other Music and Movie streaming services. This house has a queen bed in the master and two twins in the second bedroom. Also enjoy a stocked kitchen with a full sized fridge/freezer, microwave, oven/stove, and sink. There is also a car port with enough parking for two additional vehicles.

Peaceful place to stay!
I was in town for a church function and looking at property. The owners were very prompt in getting back to me when I accidently locked ourself out of the VRBO. The place was on a very quiet street and convenient for our needs. The house was comfortable and had all that was necessary for our stay, not to mention the beds were comfortable too! We were greeted the first morning by a wonderful neighbor who brought us fresh watermelon. Say thank you to LaDonna and thank you so much for our stay! Michelle S. & Family

Very clean. Necessities provided was a nice touch. Bed and livingroom furniture quite comfortable. Owner replied to any messages promptly. Quiet neighborhood, seemed private enough for me. It sits just behind a commercial building is the only reason I gave location a 4.

Our stay was comfortable, relaxed, and quiet. As far as check in was concerned, it was as easy as walking into your own house. We also appreciated the fact that it is close to the main road without being loud and a dollar store was a block away.

It's the little things
This was by far one of the best trips we've ever had. The house was easy to find, close to everywhere we needed to go, and roomy enough for everyone and everything we brought with. From the mud room to the bedrooms we had plenty of space to be comfortable. Beds were awesome, kitchen is very well stocked, and included a whole lot of little things you just don't think about until you need them! It didn't feel like a rental property, it felt like home. Chris answered every single question, and I had a lot, within minutes every single time. Highly recommend!!

We love coming back to this well appointed house. Washer/drier, well working air conditioning, complete kitchen, it has everything we need when we are in mountain grove visiting our daughter and her family.

Awesome given the circumstances
We travelled from Ca to Mo to help my mother in law. It was a stressful trip, Chris helped make our stay there worth every penny. I had to give cleanliness of place a lower star rating, because when we arrived at 10 pm that night and I don't think the cleaning people had arrived before we got there. It was late, so we just changed the sheets with the spares we found in the closet. Before I contacted Chris to complain about it, he had contacted me....he asked about the space and he told me there was a mix up with cleaning crew schedule. I told him the condition of the place, he apologized and offered to return the cleaning fees and $100 off for the inconvience. I wasn't expecting that. He returned the money to our card shortly after our conversation. This was on July 4th, so I was surprised he took care of it so quickly. That evening we had left our dog in a kennel and the dog damaged the carpet when we came back from watching the fireworks. It was late, but I contacted Chris late that night and sent him pictures of the damages. The next day he came out and took measurements of the space. He was very professional, contacted VRBO, and he went that day to find a replacement carpet. He gave us a very fair price for cost or repairs and installation fees....I thought it would be much higher considering the damage...he also let us pay with Venmo which was convenient for me not to go trying to find a bank to get him cash out.. I told him we would be helping at my in laws place most of the day if they wanted to work on it while we were out. He was grateful because they had to get it ready for next visitors after we left. They were able to install and repair the carpet the day before we left and it looked better than before. This space was a haven after long hard days of working. I really appreciated the clean bathrooms, fully loaded kitchen (he had coffee and all spices there), the washing machines were a welcome addition, and it was really nice to take a shower and play some family board games at the end of the day. The beds were comfortable...you can hear trains....but not too loud...but you can hear trains anywhere you stay in that town. It's conviently located neAr freeway, and the nearest Walmart in the area. I would definitely stay here again..not just for the place, but because The owner takes care of customers, and has a lot of pride in this b&b that shows in details. That peace of mind made our stay here worth every dime.

Wonderful rental
This rental was perfect for our weekend trip. We had everything we needed, comfortable beds, plenty of clean linens and toiletries provided. Chris always responded quickly to the couple of questions I had for him. Would recommend this to anyone traveling to Mtn Grove and won’t hesitate to stay here in the future. Thanks so much Chris!!!
