Sweetwater Lodge, tämä hämmästyttävä räätälöity, järven edessä oleva hirsitalo sijaitsee
Bear Paw, porteilla Hiwasseen järvellä Lounais-Pohjois-Carolinassa.
Nantahalan ja Cherokeen kansallispuistojen ympäröimä Bear Paw on ainoa
kehitystä tässä 16 kilometrin pituisessa järvessä, joka toimii sekä virkistys- että
voimalaitoksen järvi. Hiwassee-järvi sijaitsee Murphyn pohjoispuolella
Carolina, ja alle 30 minuutin päässä joko Georgia tai Tennessee ja tarjoaa
molemmat mukavuudet monille alueen nähtävyyksille ja yksityisyys rentoutua ja nauttia
uinti, veneily ja muu vesiurheilu tällä vuoren piilotetulla korulla
järviä.
Tämä mahtava koti näyttää ja tuntuu vuoristomaisemalta, jossa on harkittuja
huomiota jokaisen ominaisuuden yksityiskohtiin. Se on rakkaudella rakennettu yksityinen
asuinpaikka, joka nukkuu neljätoista ja tarjoaa viisi makuuhuonetta, joissa on neljä puoli kylpyhuonetta.
Master-sviitti sijaitsee kätevästi päätasolla ja siinä on mukava
king-size-vuode ja oma kylpyhuone suihkukaapilla. Myös tällä tasolla on suuri
huone, joka on suunniteltu viihtyisään rentoutumiseen ja jossa on nouseva rock-takka
sekä upea näköala järvelle ja vuorille. Se on avoin laajalle
Hyvin varustettu gourmet-keittiö, jossa on istuimet kuudelle. Suuressa huoneessa
siellä on myös laskurikorkeus / ruokapöytä, johon mahtuu kahdeksan ja konsoli
sohvapöytä, joka muuntaa istumapaikaksi kuusi. Yläkerrassa on kaksi ensuite-makuuhuonetta,
jokaisella on "Juliette" parveke keskustelualueella. On myös viihtyisä
loft-alue, jossa on työpöytä ja futon, joten se on täydellinen paikka lukemiseen, rentoutumiseen ja
nauttia näkymästä. Terassilla on kaksi makuuhuonetta sekä leikkihuone
kaksi sohvaa ja vyöryä. Tällä tasolla löydät myös leluja, pelejä, palapelejä
ja elokuvia silloin, kun lapset - tai ehkä jopa aikuiset - tarvitsevat
hiljaista aikaa. On myös toinen jääkaappi / pakastin, jossa on jääpalakone
sijaitsee tällä tasolla.
Sweetwater Lodge on peittänyt kuistia talon kolmelta puolelta, mutta
laaja yläkerran takakuistilla pois suuri huone ja näkymät järvelle ja
vuoret on aina suosikki kokoontumispaikka perheelle ja ystäville. Sillä on
runsaasti mukavia istuimia, joissa on suuri kääntyvä vuode, joka on lopullinen paikka

Great time at Sweetwater Lodge
Sweetwater Lodge was just as we had hope…an upscale waterfront home with beautiful views. The furnishings were very nice and the kitchen fully prepared for our large family. Our kids loved the large, two story dock and evenings playing ping pong. The marina is close by to rent a pontoon boat for the day. Ashley, our contact, was very friendly and helpful! Are already making plans to return next summer.

Wonderful house
We enjoyed our stay immensely. Plenty of room, well appointed and comfortable. The outside decks are great, we spent most of our time there and on the lake. The views are fabulous. The dock is on a quiet part of the lake and while it was not easy to get down to the lake, it was not as steep and difficult as places we have stayed in past years. We saw bald eagles, herons and ospreys. The property manager was immediately available and responsive to any questions. Loved every minute!

Nearly a perfect trip
This was a family vacation that involved 12 people from ages 12-72. Ashley was super helpful from assisting with the reservation in the beginning, through payment and then upon checkout and assisting in finding lost articles we left behind. The house and lake are beautiful. We had more than enough space. The only complaints, and when I say complaints, they are very minor. The road in the neighborhood is very narrow and the driveway of the house is super steep. This was mentioned but the driveway was steeper than anticipated. The dock furniture is showing wear and tear and there could be more space for trash removal. Other than that, things were outstanding, and we would book the house again without hesitation.

Pros: The view is everything. Very spacious, well kept property. Beds were super comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked. Cons: trash area was not across the street to dump trash as stated in checkout instructions so we rode for miles into town to drop the stinky trash off. Many dishes were dirty.

Incredible lake & mountain views!
We really enjoyed the cabin. It was larger than the photos appear and the views were excellent! Just be area that there are no stores or restaurants within 30 minutes and the driveway was very steep.

Mountains and lakes for days
We had a lovely weekend with my mom (82) and my twin teenage boys (15). Main level master with walk-in shower was perfect accessibility for my mom. The teenagers never complained about the internet speed once. We cooked at home every night, even getting the teenagers to learn a new recipe. Watched movies on our own Netflix login on the smart TV and played many of the games that came stocked in the basement. My mom loved the selection of books around the cabin, and plenty of reading nooks. The only disappointment is I couldn’t figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace, so some instructions for the more challenges of us would be appreciated!

We had 5 couples stay in this wonderful house. We woke every morning with a beautiful fog over the lake and then we had a beautiful sunset at night. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the fireplace outside to roast our marshmallows. The beds were comfortable We would definitely return!

We had a great time at Sweetwater! We could have sat on the porch all day. The kids enjoyed going kayaking on the lake. The house was beautiful and very well stocked! Will definitely be back.

Breath taking
We spotted this gem of a property from the lake a couple of years ago and immediately booked it for our next vacation. Unfortunately, Covid had other plans and we had to postpone for an entire year. The property manager and owners were kind enough to extend our reservation without penalty. After 2 years of eagerly waiting, we were rewarded with the most amazing vacation ever! The view of the mountains across the lake were pictureque and a perfect way to start the morning. The house was spacious and well furnished. We had 8 adults in our group and were very comfortable and even had one spare bedroom (with 2 bunk beds if we had choosen to bring any children). Lake Hiwassee is AMAZING! The 81 degree water was perfect for swiming, fishing and boating (we brought our own boat that we put on the dock, or you can rent one from the near by marina). We can not wait to come back next year!!

Best house yet!
We started the search for our ‘annual lake house’ retreat in 2016. This was by far the best house we’ve visited yet! The layout was perfect for our 6 adults/ 6 kids and was very well stocked with everything you may need for your stay. Ashley, the property manager, was wonderful throughout our booking, postponement from covid and finally our stay. The home is absolutely gorgeous and the view is breathtaking. I can’t emphasize enough what an enjoyable time everyone had and how great the location on the lake. The only reason we gave location 4 stars is because of the distance to the nearest store (35 minutes). This is a very quiet community, so you don’t get the feel of a ‘neighborhood’. It still fet remote and an escape from the craze of city life. We will definitely consider coming back!!!!!!

Wonderful winter weekend
My sister and I rented this property for a long weekend with our families. We have four children ages 1 to 6. We found the house to be perfect for us! Overall great condition. Very clean. The kitchen was very well stocked and we spent most of our time cooking throughout the weekend. Our kids enjoyed the playground equipment at the front of the community. I only wish it would have snowed while we were there so we could have tried out the sledding hill. This was a great winter weekend getaway but I would love to come back and enjoy the lake during the summer.

This property from beginning to end is the best experience I've ever encountered. Kudos to Ms Ashley for her prompt responses to my questions or concerns. Sweet water lodge is everything you're looking for.

Harley Davidson Riders Paradise
Great location and rental property! What spectacular views off the main and lower level balconies. Marina located close and in the community for rentals. We were very prepared for food prior to arriving since we were traveling by motorcycles and one car which made it fun to prepare meals together in the evenings. Amazing roads to travel on our motorcycles. Would highly recommend arrival in the subdivision during the day. We arrived late in the evening and we had no idea that the ride would take 5 minutes from the entrance to the home and not knowing the roads we were not prepared for the tight curves and steep incline going up the driveway. We obviously got used to the roads and driveway once we navigated using them a few times however I would recommend a 4 by 4 truck with power. The Property Mgr Ashley was prompt with responding and met the homeowner who was very nice talk with. Thanks for allowing us to have great memories and lots of laughs with a great group of friends.

Beautiful house on the most peaceful lake
We stayed in mid-August at this house with 3 other couples and 5 kids ranging from 18mo-4yo. The house was spacious and every family had their space and own bathroom. The lake was wonderfully warm, crystal clear and calm from so few boats out on the lake. The floats and kayaks were awesome amenities as we spent most of our time swimming off the dock. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!
