Perfectly nestled in the heart of Murrells Inlet, this peaceful & inviting guest villa is just 2 mins away from The MarshWalk with its award-winning restaurants, fresh seafood, live music and year-round entertainment. Garden City Beach, Surfside Beach, Huntington Beach State Park, & Brookgreen Gardens are all a short drive away. For golf lovers, there are over 80 world-class golf courses in the Grand Strand area. Golf cart rentals and a public boat ramp are just 4 minutes away.
The space
Sunnyside Villa is Unit B in this charming duplex. In the spacious family room, guests will enjoy a 65" Smart TV (Netflix and Prime included), queen sleeper sofa, welcoming dining area, and desk for remote working. For an evening of family fun, there is an entertainment cabinet stocked with games, puzzles, books, and playing cards. The fully-equipped kitchen and convenient coffee bar have everything you need to create delicious meals. The front bedroom features a king bed with luxury linens, a Smart TV and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom includes a king bed with luxury linens and another full bathroom adjacent to the room. A convenient utility area with a washer/dryer, iron & ironing board is ready for use. Multiple sources of mood lighting will help to create the most desirable atmosphere: lighted mirrors and nightstands, colorful lights under the kitchen cabinets, dimmable track lights, 3-way bulbs in table lamps and night lights in all rooms. Additional features include multi-plug/USB charging ports in every room for rapid and simultaneous charging, modern ceiling fans, & plenty of storage space for clothing & luggage. Step outside to the patio area where a gas Weber grill and outdoor dining for four awaits. Park your boat (up to 21 ft) in the fenced-in back yard. Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient

We were all pleased with the cleanliness, comfort, and convenience of this cute and cozy villa. It is beautifully decorated. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are immaculate. It was a bit chilly for us to use the outdoor space, our stay being in March. The host was very responsive and helpful with my questions to her. The Marsh Walk is just down the road. It is minutes from Huntington Beach, which the hosts provide a pass to. There are all manner of restaurants, golf courses, and shops in the immediate area. We also took a trip to Charlestown to the Yorktown aircraft carrier museum (just under two hours away but definitely worth the trip). My only suggestion to the hosts is to check on your internet connection. We had a hard time running more than one device at a time, i.e. watching Netflix on the Roku and browsing on a Chromebook.

Great holiday stay

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. We had plenty of room for a party of four. Everything was tidy, and a plethora of kitchen tools were provided. Kelly responded quickly to any questions, and she provided a notebook of local info, as well as a pass to beautiful Huntington Beach. Highly recommend!

Weekend trip

Kelly and David’s home is absolutely beautiful! It is very welcoming, comfortable and cozy. Everything you could possibly want or need was provided. It was very quiet, they also have a garage to park your car in. Kelly and David really went above and beyond to create a place that we will definitely return to.Thanks again Kelly and David!

This was a spotlessly beautiful property that looked exactly as depicted in the pictures. The proximity to the Marshwalk, Brookgreen Gardens, golf, and other points of interest made it perfect for a short get-a-way. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay! Even with some issues with AC the owners went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of until the issue was resolved. Can’t say enough about their responsiveness and willingness to help! House was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. We will definitely book again when we are back in the area.

Family Bike Week getaway

This property was great especially having motorcycles and trailer with us. Property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. Beds were vwry comfy! We had an issue getting the garage door to open with remote, but owners were quick to respond and fix the issue. I would highly recommend this property and hope to stay there again when we return to Murrells Inlet. Thank you for allowing our family to enjoy your beautiful home!

You really can’t beat the location! We were able to walk or bike everywhere. Only needed to drive to launch our kayaks down the street. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Loved being able to grill fish a couple nights and the garage access was great for storing our bikes and stuff. Easy bike ride to Huntington Beach State Park and Brookgreen Gardens. All the dining at the Marsh Walk was within walking distance. We can’t wait to go back!

Perfect cottage

We loved the property!!! It is the sweetest little cottage feel!!! It has all the amenities- 2 king beds - 2 bathrooms- full kitchen - great backyard - within walking distance to Sunnyside Plantation where we had a wedding to attend!!! It was just perfect!!!

Everything is as advertised, very clean, close to all. They go the extra distance by providing some basic items like tissue paper, coffee, new soft linens, etc. Highly recommend.

Home away from Home

This was my first VRBO. I have been hesitant, but since the hotel rooms were costing 2-3 times what I paid for this home, the choice was already made for me. I am so pleased with everything. Everything. Going forward I will only every VRBO when possible, although I do fear that Kelly, the host, may have set the bar so high the all other stays may be disappointing:) The location is half of a single floor home. It appears that it has been recently renovated. Modern, yet cozy. The check in was super easy and Kelly was always quick to respond to any inquiries. The place was spotless. I am that person who brings their own cleaning supplies and I didn't even need to unpack that bag. The kitchen is fully stocked with any and all dishes, cups, pots/pans, silverware, microwave, toaster etc. Wifi was super ezpz, just a QRcode. The work desk was stocked with all info needed to be like a local. The garage was useable with a garage opener you could place in the car for your stay (so thoughtful). The garage has an extra fridge. It was nice to have a washer/dryer. The bathrooms were nice and clean with mirror lighting, which my 11yr old just loved and would change the lighting after each visit. I actually stayed in the secondary bedroom because the mattress topper was just heaven. The host was gracious enough to send me the link so I can get one for home. . The outdoor space is nice with lighting. Literally, home away from home. I look forward to my next stay. Highly recommend!

Absolute cutest cottage and the location was perfect!

Wow! I cannot say enough about this property. I went for a quick girls weekend with two friends and everything about this property was perfect. The location was right in the heart of the Murrells Inlet board walk so super easy and convenient for eating and going out! The VRBO was incredibly CLEAN with all new beds, which were super comfy, fresh white towels and the cutest decor! We also had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The owner went above and beyond with all the extra touches like a snack goodie basket, waters and PLENTY of toilet paper!! The couch appeared to be brand new also with a nice pull out bed. All the extra touches like the different colored lights and extra large TV made our trip feel like home!! I liked the set up with the two bedrooms and two bathrooms. It gave us all plenty of room and privacy getting ready. I also loved the fact we didn’t have to clean before we left! No stripping beds or completing a long list of chores before check out! All we had to do was toss the trash and leave! Thank you for a great stay! We will be back.
