Vintage-aito vuoden 1945 hirsitalo lepää ¾ hehtaarin metsien keskuudessa. Näköala Michigan-järvelle 65 puuportaita 80-julkisivuiseen yksityiseen hiekkarantaan. Neljän makuuhuoneen ympäri vuoden nukkuu kahdeksan. Kaksi makuuhuonetta pääkerroksessa, kaksi makuuhuonetta yläkerrassa. Pääkerroksen makuuhuoneessa on king-size-vuode omalla kylpyhuoneella.

Pääkerroksen vierashuoneessa on queen-vuode, oma kylpyhuone. Yläkerran makuuhuone, jossa kaksi erillistä vuodetta, toisessa makuuhuoneessa on queen-vuode. Ainutlaatuinen 12 jalkainen avoin kaiteasilta yhdistää kaksi makuuhuonetta yläkerrassa. Sillasta on näkymä koko ala-alueelle. Suuri avoin pohjaratkaisu, jossa on puulämmitteinen takka olohuoneessa. Kylpyamme sadesuihkulla pois olohuoneesta. Galley-keittiö, puoli kylpyamme keittiöltä juomalla suihkulähteellä. Luonnolliset mäntypuulattiat kaikkialla. Koko talo paljastettu mänty tukki ja seetri paneeli. Kylpyhuoneissa liuskekivi ja laattalattiat.

Keskeneräinen avoin kellari toisella takalla. Pesukone ja kuivaaja pesutupa kellarissa.

Nauti iso nurmikko ryhmäistuimilla. Tulenleipä, vaahtokarkkien paistaminen, nuotiolaulujen laulaminen. Ulkopinta peitetty kuisti, jossa istuimet.
Vieraat voivat nauttia aurinkovarjo, rantatuoleja, suljettu varastotila. Toinen takkakuoppa rannalla, kajakkeja, meloa.
Polttopuut toimitetaan. Pohjois-Muskegon, Scenic Drive
50 minuutin päässä Grand Rapidsista, 3. 5 tuntia joko Chicago tai Detroit. 10 mailin päässä pohjoisen / eteläisen välikappaleen ja Michiganin seikkailun huvipuistosta

Love this cabin!!!

The epitome of beautiful lakeside cabins
Great location! Easy to get to, but also semi-private. Gorgeous 1930’s log cabin home that retains plenty of its original charm with many modern amenities and comforts! We just completed our third consecutive rental of this cabin for the third consecutive year. We are college roommates and friends that get together annually in midwinter. Barb is an excellent, easy to reach and accommodating host. So kind and so responsive if you have questions before, during or after your stay. We hope to continue re ting for years to come and we appreciate Barb and family making their beautiful home available to us! 5 stars for sure! Thank you!

Cabin with a view!
The cabin was exactly as advertised. Right above the beach with a gorgeous view of lake Michigan. My wife and I started the week just the two of us and added a couple of kids and grandkids throughout the week. Plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed plus games and puzzles and all the stuff we needed for bonfires. We had a wonderful time! room for all and

Family Getaway
We loved our stay! This property is so well appointed; they’ve thought of everything. Lots of dishes and stocked kitchen so we had fun preparing meals and eating together at the large dining room table overlooking the lake. Kayaks and paddle boards were a nice addition for impromptu voyage into the lake. Great for bonfires. Steps to upstairs are a little tricky to navigate for older family members and pets.

Spectacular!
This property was outstanding! It absolutely met our needs for a family vacation. The house was super clean and was well stocked with pantry items, towels for bath and beach, beach activities, and more. My first view of Lake Michigan as I rounded the side of the house literally took my breath away. Our group was all over 70 years old, so the stairs to the beach were a little daunting, but most of us managed at least one or two trips down them. I truly did not want to leave at week’s end! Barb was so nice to work with and very quick to respond. The Red Rooster Tavern close by was fun for lunch, dinner, or just a cold beer. I would totally rent this place again and hope to go back soon. Grocery was easy access about 15 minutes away and we also went up to the White Lake Light Station…a lovely old lighthouse and museum.

Charming!
We loved the character of this historic cabin. It is clearly cared for with pride + TLC. The beautiful beach is the main attraction, but we spent lots of time admiring the details of the cabin inside + out…it’s very special! So happy to have found a dog-friendly spot along the shores of Lake Michigan. We definitely hope to be back!

This house is gorgeous with spectacular views, tons to do for the kids and adults in the house and yard as well as on the beach and in the water. Stunning views of the lake and sunsets, even caught view of a rainbow as the thunderstorm came in to shore. Barb was very kind and quick with responses. The house is clean and well cared for with the normal oddities of an older house/cabin. Everyone in my family had an amazing stay!

Great house
We like this area, so looked for a house last minute this year. The house was better than the pics! Really neat/fun house…we really enjoyed our stay! The beach is huge and the highlight, with kayaks, umbrellas, tables, etc. Also a great view of the water from the house..and shaded backyard to hangout. Barb very responsive to help! Great family week!

This is our 4th time staying here. It is a wonderful location. There are only 70 steps to the beach. Very private. All you need is provided. When there was an issue it was dealt with promptly. We will be staying there again

Perfect Beach Cabin
Everything about this place is awesome!!! Great yard with a fire pit and large private beach. The cabin is super clean, with nice comfy beds. The kitchen is well stocked. You won’t be disappointed staying here. It was absolutely perfect for our family!!

Another fantastic vacation at a true vintage gem! We loved the superbly stocked house, enjoyed the sipping-hummingbird porch, lazed on the private beach that had great chairs and fun boats to use! The owners of this place have thought of every detail- beach towels, good kitchen stuff, outdoor dog bowls, etc. We cannot wait to spend another week here next summer- it's just a magic place.

Great family vacation
Michigan is our go to family vacation spot. Each year we are renting different home in different location and this one did not disappointed. Fantastic location with beautiful private beach. House is very charming, clean and has plenty of siting areas indoor and outdoor. Several special touches like hummingbird feeders with tons of little visitors, hammock overlooking the Lake Michigan, playhouse for kids, fire pit on the beach and on the backyard, kayaks and more. We love our stay 😍Everyone was happy didn’t want to go back home. Thank you!

Beautiful Michigan Get-Away
This was our 4th stay at this beautiful & charming cabin. The inside has great character with all its unique touches and features. Not to be outdone the outside offers beauty & charm with amazing landscaping, fire pit, play features for the kids. We had three adults & three fur babies who absolutely loved the beach. The dogs played on the beach they were exhausted! Sunsets are amazing. Barb (host) is very accommodating and is always available to answer any question you may have. She has always made our vacation care free and has been very accommodating. This cabin will not disappoint. Plenty of activities inside for both adults & kids. The basement is filled with games, such as ice hockey, foosball, mini pool table & more. Highly recommend this charming cabin.

A Special Place
This property is just as described in the listing. It was a perfect house and location for my husband and to spend time with his 3 siblings and spouses. The cabin was very clean and spacious. The kitchen was well supplied. The Lake Michigan view was spectacular and we all took several walks on the beach. It was a treat to stay there.

Beautiful, Comfy Cabin
My 3 siblings and their spouses and my wife and I, ages 60-77 came together to celebrate birthdays, our second year in a row. We love this place! Lots of room for big meals, time around the fire and long walks on the beach. It has everything we need for a late winter get-a-way! Thanks Barb for all the extra touches. Wonderful family retreat on Lake Michigan
Our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs had a lovely 3 days at this spacious, cozy and comfortable retreat. Beautiful views, stargazing and sharing stories, songs and warm drinks in the ample living space. It was great that we had enough room for everyone to have their privacy for sleeping. The kitchen was well stocked, the decor eclectic and thoughtful, the flannel sheets and towels fluffy and new. Barb was an excellent host with good communication. We will certainly be back. Thank you!

Another great stay
My wife and I have been staying here twice a year for the past 3 years, unintentionally at the same times - late winter/early Spring and late Fall/early winter. This Fall the leaf color was as good as I’ve seen it in years - unparalleled! You’ll love this house as much as we do. It’s fast become a tradition for us to stay here and you’ll see why. The best sunset views, quiet and secluded, lots of beachfront and well appointed. We love the surrounding communities, too. Barb is a pleasure to work with. You won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful and Relaxing
The log home property was perfect for our purposes. Our goal was to relax and celebrate our belated anniversary (with our pups) and this property didn't disappoint. The view of Lake Michigan was amazing from inside the home, on the covered porch, and from the yard. Each morning we had breakfast on the covered porch, which was a lovely was to start the day even in the rain. There were neighbors on one side (closer than I'd expected) but we hardly knew they were there. It didn't distract us or our dogs from relaxing and truly enjoying the property. Each day I enjoyed walking the property, taking in the unique architecture, the beautiful gardens, quiet and calming water feature, and local memorabilia throughout the home. It was a great experience, location, and time of year for us to truly relax and unplug. The log home was well-stocked. I overpack, in preparation for anything and was happy to see there were little things like a can opener, bottle opener, shampoo & conditioner, hair dryer, etc. available. Barb reached out a few times, not in an intrusive way but simply to check on us and make sure all was well and let us know to reach out if we needed anything. This was welcome and a comfort to know she & Bruce were available if needed. We had a fabulous experience and certainly would consider coming back here again, which says a lot as we've never rented the same place twice (just prefer to experience different areas) along the great lakes.
