Definitely book the larger room if not traveling solo. The smaller roo. Is nice but too tight for 2. The larger room is quite comfortable, we had a wrap-around balcony and the bathroom was ample. Nice to have closet space. Staff was so pleasant and even helped us get laundry done quickly. They serve a terrific breakfast tailored to order.

Martina at the front desk was a breath of fresh air. She welcomed us as if we were old friends and bent over backwards to help us find excellent restaurants and activities. The hotel was very charming. Their breakfasts were delicious and the food plentiful. It is located one block from the harbor and lies in the posh shopping area of the old town. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. I highly recommend the Carpe Diem Boutique Hotel!
