Lake Naivasha is an incredible spot, with the Rift Valley escarpments rising on both sides, the volcanoes of Longonot and the Giant volcanic rock formations and geothermal vents in Hell's Gate. behind, it is truly a magical landscape with no shortage of things to explore on land or water. Guests staying at the watchtower have access to the entire private sanctuary, including our restaurant, horse riding stables and all the other activities offered at Sanctuary Farm.

The watchtower is a cosy cabin in the midst of our wildlife sanctuary. Set over 2 floors, with kitchen, dining and bathroom on the ground floor and a private bedroom upstairs on the first floor, complete with 360 degree views of the acacia forest and wildlife outside stretching as far as the lake. The watchtower is surrounded by a large outdoor deck perfect for sunbathing, outdoor dining and sundowners in the evening. Further round the outside is an enclosed double outdoor shower room open to the stars!

It's easiest to use a car to get anywhere in Kenya and getting to the Watch Tower is no exception. However, there are many taxis and motorbike taxis (boda boda) operating locally that can be useful for those without private transport.

As we are primarily a wildlife conservancy, a conservation fee of KES 1000/- per adult and 500/- per child(free for kids under 5) is charged upon arrival at the gate. This is only paid once and goes towards all our conservation efforts.
