stadium construction
the location is great - the construction at the stadium not so much - hard to get in and out of the parking lot. Rooms were nice, beds comfortable. when we got in the room, the heat was set at about 80 so took awhile to get it to a good temp. nice shower with great showerhead. pretty easy walk downtown (about 20-25 minutes) across the pedestrian bridge.

The breakfast was pretty good for standard hotel breakfasts. We chose this for proximity to the stadium. We didnt realize that the easy walk was made a little more difficut due to the new stadium construction.

Our room was almost like a basement room with small basement window but those traveling with us had the same small basement feeling and on the 2nd floor. Multiple cars were broken in, seemed this wasn’t the first time, while I understand this can happen anywhere it sucks paying $25 for parking per night and still not having adequate security. Wouldn’t stay again

Front desk was nice rooms were clean the tiny windows make the room fill like a jailcell. Our stay started off ok, but we woke up to cracks in our windowa from people trying to break in our car!! Other woke up with windows busted out .. with having to pay $25 a night for parking you would think they had some type of security!! Needless to say I had to pay parking and now have to pay for two new windows

Hotel seems to be newly purcased by comfort inn amd suites. Its not the normal standards for this hotel chain. The room was clean but the hotel needs updates.

check in was a pain
Check in was at 3:00. We arrived at 2:45 and our room wasn't ready until 3:45. We were told check in "starts at 3:00 but doesn't mean you can check in if your room isn't ready". After finally getting checked in, we were not given a city view room which we had paid for. They did change our room but the view was not actually a city view as the awning was covering the view. Finally got settled in our room after 4 pm after a long wait in the too hot lobby.

Clean, close to stadium, decent breakfast. One wall of outlets (TV, lights, microwave) did not work. Hotel had power strips Daisy chained together to have everything plugged in alternatively. Had to have maintenance come to room to show us which light switch to keep on for power strips to stay on….overall hotel works well for wanting to stay near stadium at a more affordable rate. Construction of new stadium hindered some of the allure of currently staying there.
