5 Star Captain's Quarters is a spacious, newly-converted separate studio that is fully furnished and only 6 blocks from the heart of Downtown Franklin. The studio sits behind our original family home - Stone Oaks - that was built in 1919.

You'll enjoy a truly comfortable night's sleep in our brand new king-size bed as well as other amenities such as a smart TV, a fully-stocked kitchen with stove/oven and your choice of a Keurig coffee maker or a Mr Coffee drip, brand new tiled bathroom, walk in closet, and so much more.

Charming Franklin unit
A well appointed one room guesthouse unit in Franklin, and close to many things. Owner was very easy to work with and very responsive. The unit was quiet, well decorated, and quite comfortable to be in. A humidifier is badly needed because the unit is very dry though. Overall, a very nice stay.!

We were building a house so our stay was over a month long. Quite unusual. The owners are on the property and were very responsive to any issues we may have had. Great location and a quaint setting. Had access to a grill and plenty of parking. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Exceptional!
The Captains Quarters was perfect for my stay and was everything the pictures reflected in the listing. The owners were very friendly and helpful when needed. I will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. It was an easy walk to Historic Main Street and the downtown shops and restaurants.

This was a relaxing weekend. The Captains quarters was nicely decorated and so homey. We enjoyed being greeted by the host, Mark, and he helped the takeout gentlemen find us for our dinner. I highly recommed this place, and plan to come back next year!

A Pleasant Stay
From beginning to end, our stay at the Captains Quarters was a positive experience. With an arrival later than anticipated, the door was unlocked, lights were on, and we were greeted warmly by the owner. This sweet property is in a beautiful neighborhood, it has everything you need, and is close to downtown Franklin, Leipers Fork and many historical landmarks. We highly recommend this property.

We had such a wonderful time staying here; the home was so charming and lovely!! Mark met us as soon as we arrived and we loved chatting and hearing the history of the home! Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. :)

Spacious lovely cottage
A superb location on a shady quiet street among the beautiful historic homes of Franklin. Lovely walk to town. Very warm greeting from the owners. The cottage is extremely comfortable for both of us and our dog. The yard is so beautiful. Truly a gem!

Southern Charm
The location is in the center of a very quaint special town and the property is a guest house behind a typical old time Southern majestic style home. All in all, our experience was comfortable and enjoyable. The pictures pretty much matched the advertisement. I would like to suggest, however, that there were areas that were not as clean as I would have expected from the pictures, including their sitting porch outside. The kitchen was lacking in its amenities. For one example, there was only one fry pan that was warped and every morning that we used it, we had to hold it a certain way otherwise the food would roll to one side. There was no dishwasher or disposal. There were also opened mouse trap boxes around the bathroom vanity that had not been removed. We did appreciate a nice stack washer and dryer.

It’s true that you could walk to downtown but it is not a short walk about 30 minutes. But that is minor compared to what a lovely quiet place it was to stay.

This was a wonderful experience. The bed was comfortable. There is two houses on this location. We stayed in the studio Captain Quarters. The surrounding property was beautiful and well maintained. We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the property owner, he was very accommodating. We will return and we hope it is soon
