Casa de Mer villa is a beach-front townhouse in a gated and child-friendly community located in New Providence, The Bahamas. The community offers tennis courts, children's playground and pools. The luxurious townhouse style villa has 3 beautiful bedrooms with 2.5 bathrooms on 2 floors and will sleep 6. The comfortable villa provides the perfect destination for the vacation of a lifetime!

The home is 2,200 square foot on 2 floors of luxury offering several amenities that will make your stay more comfortable and pleasurable, including free wi-fi internet and a beautiful beach with snorkeling. The gorgeous villa features tile floors downstairs and hand laid wood floors on the upper floor. Casa de Mer is air conditioned throughout with central ducted air conditioning on the ground floor and separately controlled AC systems in each bedroom.

The master bedroom features a king size bed, lovely décor and an en-suite bathroom. Step out to the balcony that looks over a beautiful pristine white sand beach and the famous Bahamian waters. There is a second bedroom on the same level and is furnished with 2 single beds. It shares a bathroom with a shower with bedroom 3. The third bedroom on the upper floor is furnished with a queen-sized beds and has an shared bathroom with a full bath an shower. The downstairs floor has a powder room.

The living room is spacious and features very comfortable sofas, lovely art work, beautiful fabrics and tiled flooring. The entertainment system includes a large flat screen offering a wide range of cable tv channels, as well as internet, music. From this room you have an amazing view of the sea right outside your large glass sliding doors. You'll never tire of the view!.

The swimming pool is spacious and is surrounded by an expansive wooden deck. Comfortable lounges are placed on the deck for relaxing after a swim or for simply soaking in the sun. You have your own terrace on your beach complete with table and chairs. The terrace can be a good place for evening drinks or even for a candle lit intimate dinner.

The kitchen at Casa de Mer is fully-equipped with a refrigerator and all essential appliances, and has a fresh and bright look. There is also a laundry closet with washer and dryer.

There are a number of games and activities in the home as well as some beach toys and pool floats for your use. And the WiFi is very good too.

Guests at Palm Cay can simply take a short stroll to the club house and enjoy meals or a drink. The club house offerr a fun music night of most Fridays and barbecue day on Sunday. Be sure to check with the club for further details or any additional activities. The marina in the complex offers several water-based activities, such as charter tours, boat rentals, snorkeling and more. There is a Dockside cafe where you can have Starbucks coffee and breakfast.

Casa de Mer villa is located 30 minute drive from Nassau's international airport and a little over 10 minutes from downtown Nassau and Paradise Island. Arrangements for airport pick up to and from the airport can also be made for guests at the time of the booking. Renting a private villa in The Bahamas is amazing and you will be pleasantly surprised by our reasonable rates and quality accommodations.

There is an extra fee charged by Palm Cay for access to the Member's Pool, Beach and Members Bar. This entitles you to use the Palm Cay Club member's beach, member's bar and the member's pool. Remember too that there is an additional fee paid to Palm Cay for use of gym, water equipment such as kayaks and paddle boards. and tennis equipment. The access fee is optional, If you decide to opt into the programme your fee must be paid to Palm Cay after your arrival. You can of course use the Starfish Isle beach, restaurant, tennis court, children playground and Starfish pool freely at any time without paying additional fees. Please contact Palm Cay directly for details as details vary regularly.

Wonderful Stay in Palm Cay
We are a family of 5 which included a 20 month old. It was a phenomenal vacation! We did a site inspection a couple of months earlier so we already knew a lot. The week was amazing. First and foremost, the owner is one of the most responsive people I've ever worked with in any of my previous business or personal dealings. She bends over backwards to be accommodating. Walk out the back patio to a deck, sand and the water, which is crystal clear, shallow, and while we were there, nearly calm, so even the 20 month old could walk in the water with proper protection, and we weren't concerned about rip tides, etc. The beach is beautiful; we did utilize the Club which is a nice enhancement, although is an extra price. And the unit itself has every amenity you need. We absolutely would go back again.

The perfect beachfront getaway!
The pictures and other reviews don't highlight how special this place is. Views from the main floor and master show palm trees, a deck with the most beautiful sandy beach at the end of a private space with sborkeling and slow grade descent. The home is beautifully appointed and well stocked. The ability to use the fitness rooms, bar and restaurant all reasonably priced, gave us many options as a family of 5 hungry people. Definitely recommend calling in advance to understand pricing options since it sounds like it changes and we did not go at a peak travel time. You really don't need the membership the whole time if you are more prepared than we were. Meredith is a great host, quick to respond and empathetic to ebsuring the guests are enjoying themselves. She made the difference and we felt like we were at a home away from home.

Amazing Family Vacation!
Casa de Mer was the best fit for our family! My husband and I traveled to Nassau with 3 children (ages 6, 5, and 2). The home was wonderful and had all the amenities needed for our vacation! We hired Cheryl's taxi and they brought us to Palm Cay from the airport, stopping at a grocery store on the way. There are many grocery stores on the island--Solomon's is the closest and very new--but it would be a long walk. We rented a car directly at the Welcome Center of Palm Cay and utilized that to get around the island. This unit is DIRECTLY on the beach and situated at the far end of the condos. We basically had our own private beach for the week. Each morning, we collected sea shells in our pajamas and my kids played in the sand while I made breakfast. Like I said, directly on the beach! The area is extremely safe and the house was spacious and organized. Thank you for the laundry baskets! It makes life a lot easier with the kids! I ran a load of laundry each day, and the house was stocked with detergent. The robot vacuum, that my children have named "Marty", made its rounds a few times a day, which helped keep the floor free from sand. I would absolutely recommend Casa de Mer, and we plan on returning as well! Meredith was fabulous with communication and providing information before we arrived. I can't say enough great things about this place!

Awesome
Condo was perfect!! We loved that you just walked out the back door and you’re on the beach where we spent most of the week. Condo had everything we needed and Meredith was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We hired Chris as our Taxi Driver and highly recommend him and we also hired a private chef, Chef Everton, who was excellent. It was a perfect week and I highly recommend Casa de Mer!!

Best vacation ever
From start to finish, this vacation was amazing. Meredith was incredibly responsive from the beginning of the booking process all the way til the end of the trip. She even went above and beyond to help with recommendations for taxis, boat charters, and restaurants. The home was clean, perfect location, and exactly as pictured. I hope to return again, as my family and I enjoyed everything about the house as well as Palm Cay. I have even sent the link to others as it was so amazing. Relaxation in Paradis
We spent a week at Casa De Mer and had a fabulous time. The location of the unit is perfect. It's at the far end of the beach, which lends itself to quiet relaxation. The house comes fully equipped with everything you might need - even sunscreen! The deck off the back has ample lounge chairs and plenty of seating for dining al fresco. The kitchen is fully equipped, the beds are comfortable, and the water pressure in the shower is great. A new grocery and ABC store is a short drive down the street. While the food was delicious at the resort restaurant (the Pink Octopus), the service was very, very slow. We brought our pickleball rackets. The courts have nighttime lights which was fun. We can't wait to go back!

We enjoyed our stay at Casa de Mer with 4 adults and 1 infant. Meredith was easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy. High chair and pack and play were provided which was very nice. The house was well appointed and the beach right out back was wonderful. The bbq needs some TLC. We would stay again!

Just Perfect!
We stayed at Casa de Mer over New Years. The Villa was extremely clean and well equipped. The view is even better than the photos and sunsets are just breathtaking. Meredith was an incredible host. We had an issue with the refrigerator cooling and she had the whole unit replaced while we were there. She was great with recommendations for food and boat charters. I can't say enough about the whole experience. A couple notes- the twin beds are a standard twin.. we had our 6'4 son using that room and he was hanging off the end! The beds were very comfortable though and he slept well none the less. We purchased the beach club access 3 days of our trip-- it is very expensive (6 adults) especially if you want to use the gym. The access to the beach bar is nice but also very expensive. In my opinion it's not worth the money. The beach outside the villa is quiet and beautiful. We drug the chairs out by the water most days, used a wireless speaker and made our own drinks! We hired a personal chef for New Years Eve and dined al Fresco on Seafood chowder and grilled Lobster tail then finished the night watching the fireworks at the beach club. We rented jet Ski's on the beach and chartered a captain for a day on the water. It was the perfect family vacation. Thank you so much for the memories! We hope to go back soon. Cheers!

WHAT A VIEW!!
Casa De Mer is a little slice of paradise! The view is unbelievably beautiful! As soon as we stepped in the front door the view hits you and it is PERFECTION! The home is beautifully decorated and clean. You are literally steps to the sand and water. It has a beautiful large deck with plenty of seating and chaise lounges. The comfy house was well stocked and had plenty of beach towels for outside. We ate at the Pink Octopus twice which was within walking distance of Casa De Mer and it was a lovely place, also with beautiful views and good food. We rented a car ( be prepared to drive on the opposite side of the road ) so we were able to travel to different areas and restaurants as there are not many close by to Palm Cay. We would not hesitate to stay there again .

Great Spring Break Stay
We stayed at the Palm Cay resort for Spring Break. The house was lovely and cozy. The supply of colorful beach towels by the door were perfect and we spent a lot of time at the charming dining room table playing cards and enjoying our meals. The grill was a nice touch and the kitchen was fully equipped - never before have we stayed at a place with a blender! #smoothies The beach access was perfect for the kids and the beach chairs were perfect for the adults. We didn't use the membership or club pool since we were right on the beach. We didn't get the beach speakers to work, but we didn't try very hard. lol. The welcome packet was quite comprehensive, though I would definitely add the Bahaman Art and Handicraft to the list of 'must do' stops. Though the potholes are a real thing, we had no trouble driving and it was nice to explore the island a bit - even down to Jaws Beach! The beds were cozy and everyone slept well. Thanks for the laundry baskets in the closets!! The only real suggestion would be an upgrade to two ply toilet paper in the bathrooms, because, well, it's the beach.

Exceeded Expectations
Our most recent stay at Palm Cay by far exceeded our expectations. The home was as advertised with an amazing view, location and plenty of space for our family of 5. The kitchen was well-equipped and the owner was very responsive when we couldn't figure out how to get to the TV to work. The outdoor furniture and deck area were new and very nice! A nearby grocery store was brand new and had everything we needed (very similar to a US grocery store). We were on site with 3 other families staying at other homes. It was a vacation for the record books! We did a day trip to Baha Mar and also chartered a boat for a day from the marina. It was great, don't hesitate to book this property!

A perfect spot!
What an incredible spot! The location is absolutely stunning. We watched the sunrise most mornings from the top deck sipping coffee and found shade under the palm trees during the day. Being that close the the ocean was so nice! We could watch out 12 year old play in the ocean from the loungers on our deck. The ocean was very calm most days and great for swimming. We snorkelled around the rocks and found a few fish to look at. The home has a great layout with a large kitchen and living space and the 3 bedrooms upstairs were a great size. We appreciated having separate A/C for each bedroom! We had a little trouble with the washing machine but Michael the property manager was very attentive and got a technician out to fix it right away. He was awesome to deal with and is a great guy. We were a little concerned that the location was too far away from downtown but it really wasn’t far at all. We drove to the CrossFit gym most mornings and it only took 20 min. In fact, we really appreciated that we were away from the craziness of the cruise ships on the other side of the island. Another perk was that we were able to book a boat to pick us up right at the Palm Cay marina. Highly recommended heading over to Rose island and snorkelling the reef there. The tennis courts were in good shape and were never busy. 4:30 is a great time to play as the court is shaded by some big trees. We would highly recommend this condo and would stay here again if we are ever back in Nassau.

Overall very great
Mike is very present and answers fast. There was a problem, the ceiling in the dining room was leaking a lot right on the table. He tried to send people a lot to fix the problem, but it never worked. Still I understand it is not his fault. Also, the dishwasher is not working at all. But, for the rest, it was perfect. House is spacious. Bedrooms are sooo comfortable. The beach is beautiful and perfect for little children. Calm neighbor. Really enjoyed our stay. I recommand but only if the problems were fixed ! Thanks a lot Mike !

Property was as described and just steps away from our very own private beach, in a gated community which was a quiet and very relaxing get away. We used the information in the guide provided by Michael including using Cheryl for our transportation and all was very helpful! We loved the little cafe at the marina that had a Starbucks and supplies if you ran out of something as the location is a ways away from restaurants and grocery stores (Solomon’s was about a 15-20 minute walk). The marina had bikes and scooters for rent and we were able to line up a day trip with captain Rick to Rose Island through the Palm Cay office (highly recommend him and this trip). Would definitely stay here again

Amazing beach front gated community
We stayed with 3 couples, and the pictures just don’t do it justice. Absolutely amazing view right on the ocean. We spent most of our time on the patio in the back and on the beach. Well stocked kitchen and amenities. Mike and Lisa were very fast to respond to questions before we arrived, and very friendly during our stay.

LOVED this vacation! Being right on the beach and so close to the water was wonderful. While we loved the condo and location, we did spend a fair amount of money on taxis to get to our excursions. Highly recommend a day trip to the Blue Lagoon! We can't wait to go back to the Bahamas and this condo!
