Shady Sunset Cottage is perfectly nestled on Lanana Bay at mid-lake in Braywood Subdivision and has been completely remodeled top to bottom. The home sits on 1.6 acres of land and features 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and sleeps 10 people. There is a screened in back porch for dining or just relaxing and watching the sunset. For the fishermen, there is a one car carport and a one car garage to park those valuable fishing boats in. The property has a large outdoor fireplace area for evening s'mores. This is a great quiet location that is conveniently located minutes from Toledo Town & Tackle, Pendleton Bridge, grocery stores and Cypress Bend Golf Resort! Nice place, lots of space. The water was low so the deck and most fishing area on the propery was not usable. Also we were without power for a whole day. As far as the house, it is as listed. Pretty good weekend get away

Property was just as described. Very clean and had everything we needed for cooking etc. Water was about 5 ft low but we were still able to get two boats to the property and beached them. The property was Beautiful and in a nice quiet cove. We hope to be back again sometime.

Such a great stay with family!
We had such an enjoyable time. The house was clean. There were many towels, hand and wash rags. Plenty for full family staying there! The yard was well kept and easily maneuverable. We simply docked out boat on the beach area, tied to a tree. There was only one hiccup with plumbing... although it was fixed very quickly. It did not hinder us from having a pleasurable stay. The washer and dryer as well as other appliances were very clean and worked well. Everyone slept comfortably and happily in this rental. The screened porch made outdoor sitting very nice. We hope to return at a later date.

Mother's Day weekend getaway
This property was a great find. My two kids (3 and 12 years old) had a blast. No bulk head so you can walk right up to the water from the yard. They caught fish and turtles all weekend. The easy access to water made it simple to put our kayaks in the water. There's a boat launch about 5 mins away that my husband used to launch the boat! The house was clean and comfortable (we had 3 adults and 2 kids). Netflix was already logged in on the TV which was great for the kids when it was time to wind down in the evening. Thank you for such an enjoyable weekend at the lake!

Awesome house on Toledo Bend
This was an amazing house and so clean, I have rented a lot of places but nothing ever this clean, I recommend anyone wanting to stay on Toledo Bend to please look into this place, very quiet neighborhood and close to Toledo Town . I will definitely be back

Safe Haven from Hurricane Ida
We were a family group from St. Mary Parish who evacuated due to Hurricane Ida, with ages ranging from 65 to 10. The owners of this cottage went out of their way to accommodate us. We had one small hiccup during our stay and they immediately came and took care of it. The property is beautiful with lots of yard space for children to play. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. It is a serene and beautiful place to escape the worlds craziness! I would definitely rent this cottage again.

Family weekend Getaway
If you need a place to just relax then this is it. Perfect for our little family. This well maintained home was furnished with everything except your food, but that’s ok because there is a store only 2 miles away with a bait shop. The yard was very shaded and had plenty of area for several people to fish and swim. It’s very nice to be able to walk out the house to your private dock to fish from at the end of the cove with No boat traffic!! Homes air conditioning worked very well With this weekend being so hot.

Absolutely the perfect spot for the family reunion we came for. Close to town but quiet enough to really enjoy nature. The view from the sceened porch is amazing. It slept 6 adults and 2 kids perfect. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great spot for a lake get away
We really enjoyed the house. It was just right for us and three grandchildren 6-10, parents joined us later in the week. I really appreciated the staple provisions-soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels toilet paper, salt, coffee etc., provided. Of course you use these everyday but overlook packing them for a get away so you have to run to the store which expends vacation time and $$$. Thank you Reid for addressing the need. The house was what we expected for a lake house. It was clean and accommodating. We enjoyed the games in the evenings. The lakefront access was perfect. We were able to pull the boat up to the beach and tie up to a tree. Since the cove is secluded wakes and waves were not a problem. We also brought kayaks that were easy to board and dock at the lake’s edge. Will definitely consider this house for future TB trips.

Nice and Quiet Home/Neighborhood
Great home to have a quiet time and enjoy the view of the lake. Easily accommodated multiple families during the day as visitors for our group vacation. Large screened in porch with room for plenty of seating. Fishing was pretty decent though there were a few snags. We made the decision not to swim at the property mainly due to the tree snags and somewhat stagnant water but that was our choice with younger kids. Access to the water was easy though. Overall everyone enjoyed the property and would stay here again.

Amazing Getaway
We truly enjoyed ourselves on this trip. The property is in the perfect location and was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the grass area and being able to fish right outside. The property owner was very accommodating and answered all questions we had. We will definitely be back.
