I booked a room that the hotel advertised as having cable television and AC. This room was for a higher price than the rooms without. However, there was no television service! I was told by another guest that they hadn’t any television service for about five days. This was almost two months after the hurricane. Other hotels in the area had cable television service. I was told that I could check out (shortly after I checked in and found out that there was no television service) and then contact Expedia for my refund since I booked through Expedia. After contacting Expedia, I was told that Xtabi agreed to refund me only one day’s cost of the two days that I had booked. I didn’t stay at the hotel but they fleeced me almost $80.00 because they did not provide me with the services that I paid for. I rebooked into another nearby hotel that cost more per night but delivered on their promise of cable television service.
