This classic two bedroom, one bathroom home is totally remodeled and walking distance to Mardi Gras parades and St. Charles Avenue streetcar line! The house is centrally located anywhere in the city, including Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Superdome, Convention Center, & downtown.

nice place, probably better for short stays
the property was pretty much as advertised, clean, good location near frerret st, which has a lot of good restaurants. there were a few small problems though. 3 of the 4 overhead kitchen lights were out, making the room a bit dark, and for those staying a little more than a long weekend or have dietary restrictions a few things could use an up grade. a good can opener and paring knife is needed and the pots and pans are starting to show their wear and tear. i'd also be sure that you have their contact phone numbers handy when you arrive so you can contact them-they gave the wrong entry code for the door. in the arrival instructions. and the need to have clear, brief, written notes on how to access wi fi. a few flaws, but mostly an ok place.

Easy check in, good communication, great amenities from refrigerator, coffee maker, stove, comfy beds! Love that we were blocks from Freret street with numerous bars, restaurants, bistros; great location!

Another Marvelous Visit!
In the past two years, this is the 2nd time I stayed at this property. Everything is just as nice as the first time. I always appreciate the little things, like the Keurig with pods so I don't have to buy coffee for a short visit. The host is very responsive should any issues arise. The location is great - within a mile of Loyola/Tulane for family visits. A market and fun restaurants are just 2 short blocks away. Very easy to get a rideshare from this location to anywhere you want to go in the city. Hoping this will be available for my trip!

Perfect for college move in weekend
We needed a place to fit the family for move in weekend and this fit the bill. Decent walk to campus and to restaurants in Freret. Owners were super responsive and it had everything we needed and more (little things like it having Keurig coffee pods for their Keurig machine and laundry detergent was nice since it's not something you want to buy or bring for a few night stay).

Ok stay.
The rental unit was very clean and tidy. Communication with the host was easy and prompt, and check-in was seamless. The photos accurately represented the unit when we arrived. The unit was quiet at night, which is important as my family is sensitive to noise at night when trying to sleep. But for us, the location was not as optimal as we had hoped. While it was away from the main party scene in NOLA, the walls with the adjoining unit were very thin, and we could hear parts of our neighbors' conversations, their dogs barking (fortunately only during the daytime), and their floors creaking when walking. Also, one of the neighbors a few doors down the street had a very loud outdoor party on the street one day, with music blasting for hours. (fortunately it was in the daytime hours only). The neighborhood was not very busy (perhaps because it was in June?) with very few people milling about Freret St, and the unit is just 1 block from Oschner Hospital -- both of which did not instill the feeling that the neighborhood was particularly safe, though we didn't think it was very dangerous as long as you were street smart. Nevertheless, we did not go out at night. The only minor points were that many of the towels were bleach stained and need replacing, and the laundry detergent had run out (check-out process requires starting a load for used towels). Considering all of these things, the rental rate is likely fair.

Great 2 night Stay on our out rod trip
The house was was just as pictured. Beds and bedding were comfortable and looked beautiful together. Kitchen was adequately equipped and the house was convenient to everywhere we planed to visit. Great stay!

Comfort at the Magnolia Marvel
Our family of three spent four nights in this comfortable home in a very convenient and safe location. Walked just a few blocks to nearby coffee bar/bakery, restaurant, and market. Check-in was easy and when we struggled a bit with the television (operator issue!), the managers were quick to reply to our text. Had everything we needed: comfy beds, quality television, wifi, and parking out front. The location was truly convenient to many areas we wanted to explore such as the French Quarter and Garden District. Head neighboring dogs bark a few times, but not at night when we were sleeping. Would definitely stay here again when we return to NOLA.

Amazing location and perfect property
We spent a week in New Orleans, eating our, exploring the city and visiting our daughter at Tulane. This property is so perfect. A great size, very comfortable and a terrific location. The property manager was Uber helpful and responsive.

Delightful decor, great location!
It was truly a pleasure to stay at the Magnolia Marvel. The decor is updated and looks just like the photos. Very welcoming and happy color choices. The place was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the coffee amenities which were included. The location is perfect for anyone visiting students at the nearby universities, it’s is less than a mile from Tulane. I had a rental car and was always able to park right out front. It’s also a very walkable neighborhood. A nice market and several great restaurants are just 2 short blocks away. I did hear our neighbors once or twice, but I didn’t find the noise to be so problematic that I needed to deduct stars. Overall this was a great short term rental and I would certainly book again.

This is a side by side townhouse type building and let me tell you, the walls are PAPER THIN. You can hear everything as if the next door apartment is in the same room as you. You can actually hear them coughing, burping, laughing etc. Had a hard time hearing the TV with the noise. The apartment itself was clean and fine but I was very unhappy with the noise and there was also a terrible order in the closet in the back bedroom. The unit ended up being like 325plus a night with all the added fees. Not worth it. I don’t recommend it.

Great house in a great location
This house was perfect for our long weekend visiting our son at Tulane. The house is walking distance to Tulane/Loyola, Audobon Park and there are lots of great restaurants 2 blocks away on Freret St.. Clean, safe neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable and especially loved the king size bed. The shower has great water pressure and very hot water. The house was very clean. Looks just like the pictures. We appreciated the free coffee, sugar, creamer especially because we arrived at the house at close to midnight so we could not go to the supermarket until the next day. Jessie was nice enough to leave lights on in the house to help us with our late arrival. We would definitely stay again.
