The Calliope has a location that can't be beat! Get your steps in and check out the coolest local bars and restaurants that NOLA has to offer all within a casual stroll of this home. Did we mention the French Quarter was just a 10-minute walk? If you want even more excitement, grab an Uber to Magazine Street, Marigny, or Bywater.
Four blocks from the St. Charles Streetcar Line.. this is a great option to see the gorgeous mansions and Live Oak tree draping of St. Charles Avenue.
Countless coffee shops and convenience stores are located in a two-block radius of this home.
Rouses Market is nearby too.

EVERY HOME, EVERY TIME
In a NOLA LUX home, you'll always find our bathrooms stocked with a starter set of everything you need to get squeaky clean including (but not only) shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Our kitchens have all the essentials needed to prepare your favorite meal. Kickstart each morning with Keurig coffee pods included with every stay. We've even got your TV entertainment covered with hundreds of streaming options to choose from.
NOLA LUX homes are immaculate and well-maintained by professionals who clean and sanitize between every guest using the highest standards in the industry.

GENERAL INFORMATION
The following details are important but aren't specific to this particular unit and apply to all reservations made at a NOLA LUX property.

WE RECOMMEND TRIP INSURANCE
Planning a vacation can be stressful enough when everything goes right but adding a pandemic to the mix adds a whole lot of uncertainty. Trip insurance keeps you from losing your vacation rental investment if you need to cancel for a covered reason. We're here to help if you have any questions!

HOUSE RULES
These are all no-brainers, but we don't want any confusion so we're going to state the obvious:
- NO SMOKING
- No gatherings greater than the approved occupants
- No rearranging furniture, please
- Quiet hours between 10 PM - 8 AM are strictly enforced

MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS
The primary renter must be at least 21 years old. There are exceptions made on a case-by-case basis and with a paid security deposit and our express written permission. Contact us for details.

**We do not accept bookings from guests within a 50-mile radius.**

SECURITY CAMERAS
Security cameras are in all common spaces of the building, but no worries, no cameras inside any of the homes. We do also have internal sensors that detect temperature, humidity, THC, vapor, and decibel levels.

GUEST REGISTRATION
After you book your reservation, we will require the completion of our electronic Rental Agreement and a copy of a government-issued ID (excluding Airbnb bookings). Once completed, your check-in instructions will be emailed to you thirty days before your arrival date.

OPTIONAL FEES
The following fees are paid in addition to and after the reservation is paid for:
- $75 Early Check-In anytime after 11 AM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $75 Late Check-Out anytime before 2 PM (must be arranged within three days of arrival)
- $25 per night single rollaway bed rental (includes all necessary bedding)
- $25 per night crib rental (includes all necessary bedding)

SUPPLY STARTER KIT
No one wants to have to worry about getting to the store after traveling all day! That's why we provide a supply starter kit – to get you through the first day or two of your stay.
The kit includes: three rolls of paper towels, a dish sponge, five dishwasher pods, four trash bags, dishwashing liquid, ~12 coffee pods per bedroom count, creamer, sweetener, salt/pepper, olive oil, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bath soap bar, lotion, mouthwash, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and three rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom.

PARKING
While we do not have any long-term parking on-site, there are countless parking options that we would be happy to provide more information on. Thankfully our location is optimal for walking (or short Uber/Lyft ride) experiences for guests of all ages.

Breathe of Luxurious Air
This property more than matched it's online photos, but in person, the esthetics, the cleanliness, and ambiance of the New Orleans made this property absolutely luxurious. We frequent NOLA a lot and this host has gained a repeat customer for life. You can tell they take pride in the property. From how well the place is decorated to how plush and comfortable the furniture and beds are. The view from the balcony is the cherry on top. With plush outdoor setting you can take in the city scape while taking in your relaxing beverage of choice at any time of day.

OPTIMAL
This property is lovely !!! Very clean, well organized, and peaceful even in a busy neighborhood. The gym is a bonus, and there is a nice bar and restaurant on ground floor of building should you choose to stay close. Beds are very comfortable - a good night's sleep is easy. Location is ideal - everything within comfortable walking distance - Canal Street, the trollies, downtown and the French Quarter. Communication is excellent - very responsive personnel and very helpful. Highly recommend this property, and I would stay here again.

Clean Accurate Luxury Listing with a few Hiccups
The property listing, cleanliness, and communication were all on point except for a few hiccups that should be corrected immediately. The door to the outside patio does not easily open and needs to be adjusted and remedied. The plastic guard at the bottom of the shower glass door in the room with the ensuite needs to be fixed. Door was difficult to open and close and the pressure exerted to open it initially had us leave it open the entire time out of fear we would break the glass door. The iron and ironing board in the unit need to be updated. The ironing board needs a cover and the iron purchased was cheap and needs to be a Rowenta iron. I was traveling during the holiday time and the ironing board and iron stained the clothing for myself and my significant others resulting in a last minute shopping trip for us. The building has little to no insulation so you could hear all traffic in the adjacent unit and all the traffic in the hallway. It was ok for a temporary stay but may bother others. The guest bedroom that closes to the front door had a sloping issue due to the old building and or bedframe and the guests stated the memory foam mattress was not the best. The place was nicely furnished and very clean but the living room furniture is not comfortable or conducive to relaxing at all. Highly recommend the owners remove the massive dining table and current sofa and chairs (These are the worst) and switch that out with a comfortable sectional and furniture. If your patio furniture is more comfortable then the living room furniture that says a lot :) Nothing worse then going to New Orleans, being potentially hungover and sitting on that furniture. I hope my suggestions are taken seriously. I am not being negative it is my hope that these items can be approved as we would stay there again with a few small tweaks. The owners can reach out to me directly if they would like more suggestions.

Excellent property in the right place
Worked very well for our four night stay. Communication with the host was great. WiFi a bit in and out, could connect one day but not the next but that's the only thing I can think was a negative and 4G got over that. Would recommend 👌.

Everything was perfect. From contacting them to store our luggage before check-in, the check-in process, the cleanliness of the condo, the beds and pillows were comfortable, the outside deck was relaxing, close to everything for walking, yet far enough away that you aren't hearing all the noise. I live in New Orleans but was looking for a nice play to stay in the downtown area with enough space to be a rendezvous for a few friends. This place was perfect. Two huge rooms/beds, plenty of space, and some nice touches like complementary toiletries and snacks. The only room for improvement would be wifi that’s easier to detect (no problem once you found it) and some multi surface cleaner to help pick up after ourselves. I was very happy overall.
