The location of hotel Mazarin is perfect. It's half a block from Bourbon Street and in the heart of the French Quarter. We didn't need a car to get around for the whole week. The staff is exceptional, very helpful and friendly. The hotel is old though. We needed someone to come fix the air-conditioning and refrigerator and needed to be moved because our first room was next door to the old, loud elevator.

The man was amazing on Christmas Eve checking us in! The woman with black hair was also very helpful! The woman with blonde / white hair I experienced today checking out was awful didn’t help me with the door and was rude

Front desk was nice. Did like anything else. My room was literally next to the elevator. I heard everyone coming and going, talking. They must be remodeling which was never mentioned. Loud noises started before 8 am. I heard the people above me walking and sliding the chair on uncarpeted floor. Would not stay again.

The room had a musky odor. The corridor to the patuonwas covered by a giagiant tarp. So as you came out of the room that what you saw. No couch to seat in. Room was spacious. Bathroom a bit dated. Reception was friendly.

The restaurant was closed both days. The parking lot across the street is valet at $50. It took 40 minutes to get our car. There isn't a lot going on around there

Our original room was a bit stale and pleasant due to moldy smell which probably was a result of windows not being able to open up but when we went down to change rooms we got a balcony room and the it was GREAT. The hotel is located on one of the intersections of Bourbon providing a bit of the action but also a chance to be away and sleep. The hotel staff were so friendly and welcoming and accommodating and so I’d stay here again and again for sure.
