Mid City 2 BR in Beautiful Arts and Crafts House

The house is an early 20th century Arts & Crafts style triplex, original details intact, woodwork, oak floors and bathroom tile.

We try to provide an experience we would expect, nice linens and towels, well equipped kitchen (with knives that are sharp!)


We live on the other side and a regular tenant lives downstairs. This is not a party house, we're looking for quiet guests who will enjoy our home and neighborhood. At least one of the guests must be over 21. We are just four blocks from the Canal Street streetcar line, which will take you to City Park and the cemeteries in one direction or downtown and the French Quarter in the other.

Late check-in is fine, because the door is operated with the code and not a key.
This apartment's great location gets high marks from our customers. During your stay, you'll be within walking distance of City Park. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the apartment.

New Orleans pre-Mardi Gras stay
We were a group of 4 adults and found this was ample space for us. You will get the old charm of New Orleans while staying here. A short walk to the Canal trolly and grocery stores. The hosts were amazing. Very quick to respond and helpful when we had any questions. Would definitely stay here again. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to enjoy it when you want. (French Quarter).

Nice Place

Great hideaway in a quiet neighborhood
This two bedroom cozy house In central New Orleans is quiet, clean, and convenient to the major attractions tourists want to access. The hosts are friendly and they have labeled things in the house to make use of light switches and TVs easy. We will stay there again!!

NOLO sweet
This is a very well-provisioned, shotgun-style rental home with plenty of features true to its era. The neighborhood odd calm and quiet, and there is easy access to the trolley on Canal Street. It’s a long ride to the French Quarter, but you’re on a trolley—one of the enduring icons of New Orleans! The owners were very responsive, they communicated thoroughly and proactively, and they graciously accommodated a late schedule change that delayed our arrival by a week.

Just what we needed
It was exactly as described, very comfortable. We slept well in the king size bed and the ac kept it nice and cool. We drove and it was conveniently located to anything we wanted to do. It was as described and had a cool, historic vibe with the hardwood floors and fireplace. The neighborhood was a mix, some similar, well upkept homes and duplexes and some smaller, more run down ones all on the same street. We felt safe as my husband and I, and wouldn’t have a problem having our kids there but wouldn’t have them go outside without us. Not that there is much space that I think that would even come up. Overall, I recommend this place!

Lovely home in Mid City
The home was amazing. Well stocked for all your basic needs, the property owners were very helpful if we needed anything and super easy to communicate with. The home was just what we needed for our family of 4 while we enjoyed the city. Super close to lots of food, drinks and the streetcar for easy transportation options! Cozy home
Mid City did not disappoint. The home is Cozy and had everything we needed. Mike and Damion were excellent hosts. They responded quickly to text messages as well. Free off street parking was a plus. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I wish the curtains were blsckout but that's not a bad thing. We didn't have to travel far to get attractions or restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. I also like we didn't have to do a lot at checkout! If I'm ever in New Orleans again, I'd stay at Mid City.

What a gem!
Everything about this property was as described and more. The location was perfect for our needs. We were close enough areas we wanted to explore and far enough from those areas to feel safe in our quiet little neighborhood. Our hosts were very attentive and available at a moments notice! Mike was very helpful to make our vacation to New Orleans great. He was very personable and had a great attention to detail. The house is located 15 minutes from the French Quarter using the historic streetcar. Much better to stay in a house vs a hotel ... a home away from home!
