Mökki sijaitsee Vieux Carre -tyyppisen kodin takana. Saapuessasi voit rentoutua ja suunnitella New Orleansin vierailun kodikkaassa mökissä ja yksityisessä patiossa. Nauti tervetulleesta viinikoriin, jossa on paikallisia herkkuja.

Mökki sijaitsee yhdellä New Orleansin hienoimmista asuinalueista. Se on rauhallinen alue, joka sijaitsee kaukana väkijoukoista ja melusta, ja se sijaitsee kätevästi kaupungin puistoon ja New Orleansin taidemuseoon, Besthoff-puutarhaan ja New Bayou Oaks 18-reikäiseen golfkenttään. Erillinen makuuhuone, jossa on queen-size-vuode ja suuri kylpyamme, jossa on sisäänrakennettu meikki pöytä.

Yksityinen off street parking, Kaapeli-TV, Hi nopeus wi-fi ja pesukone / kuivausrumpu mökissä.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta City Park (puisto). Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Picturesque garden courtyard setting
The cottage is so nicely appointed, but the courtyard setting makes it feel like an oasis. And if that wasn't enough, the hosts are simply the best we've ever had. A personalized sign welcoming us, the fridge full of breakfast food, snacks, and a bottle of champagne with chilled glasses waiting for us! WHO DOES THAT? Answer... these hosts! I don’t even know where to start. Susan and Eldon are the most gracious hosts. They left some basic item in the fridge to make us feel welcome (juice, water, yogurt, soda, bread, eggs , and more). Then they also left us some yummy snacks to try. The home was clean and warm and inviting. And their backyard garden is like a Monet painting. When we come back to New Orleans, we will definitely booked this place again.

I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals but I’ve never seen so much care for a cottage than Susan gave this one! We felt very welcomed with her snacks, wine and even beads/masks provided for mardi gras. Cottage was clean, in a safe neighborhood and just a short drive to French Quarter which is what we wanted as we had a rental car and needed parking. I recommend this rental to anyone who wants to explore such a unique city.

Delightful cottage with exemplary hosts
This adorable cottage exceeded our expectations. A welcome sign with our names greeted us and that was just the first of many surprises! Champagne, wine, cheese, pralines and more along with breakfast items and many other treats were laid our for our pleasure, A comprehensive list of local eateries was provided along with maps and informations on New Orleans sites. Check in was easy and Susan and Eldon checked in with us to see if there was anything else we needed. Because of the 100 year snow storm, our dates were changed at no charge, Susan kept us posted prior to arrival as to road conditions. What a joy to arrive at this adorable home away from home. As an artist, I loved the collection of art work and the amazing photographs. Even with the snow damage, my partner thoroughly enjoyed all the landscaping treats surrounding the cottage. We are definitely looking forward to returning to New Orleans and and staying with Susan and Eldon again.

this property has everything that a rental could be. The unit itself is lovely. Separate one bedroom. Beautifully furnished. Our week & 1/2 in the lovely guest cottage was welcoming, comfortable, clean, & cozy. The gracious hospitality we experienced was delightfully Southern. Our host provided breakfast items, coffee, wine, cheese, fruit, champagne, pralines & other treats. That made us feel at home & was greatly appreciated. We loved the courtyard with multiple fountains, fruit trees, exotic plants, & a multitude of scented herbs. The neighborhood was quiet & peaceful. We felt very safe & look forward to staying again when we return to New Orleans.

Football Trip
The cottage was a perfect spot to stay during our trip to New Orleans for a football game. The location is great for exploration of the city yet far enough away to provide a secluded and quiet getaway. We can’t wait to come back again and again. 30th Anniversary Trip
Susan greeted us upon arrival including a sign for our anniversay! She provided breakfast items, snacks, and a bottle of wine and champagne to welcome us. Our cottage was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and quiet. The garden areas are beautiful and the gated property added a welcome level of security. The neighborhood was lovely and safe. We would highly recommend this property. Susan was an amazing host and we are hoping to stay there again in the future.

The Sure Thing
There aren’t many certainties in life, and even less in The Big Easy. But staying with Susan and Eldon in this very comfortable little house is absolutely one of them. Yes it’s clean. Yes it’s convenient. Yes it’s a great value. But more than those things, it feels like home. There are wonderful, little touches like a partially stocked fridge, extra towels, and a fantastic bookshelf radio that make all of the difference. This is our second time staying there, and it will absolutely not be our last.

Exceptional!
This is a perfect property, with every amenity that you could want. It is, in effect, your own bungalow in a nice, quiet neighbourhood, within easy reach of central New Orleans. However, it is the little touches that Susan and Eldon have added that make it so wonderful. For example, having the fridge stocked for breakfast saves so much time and effort if you arrive late in the day. There are many of these small additions that make it such a great place to stay. This is as good as it gets in terms of venue and hosting, and we would have given it six stars if we could!

Beautiful Cottage in a Secret Garden
From the moment we stepped into this wonderful Secret Garden we fell in love. The garden area is such a beautiful, relaxing spot. From the perfect plantings to the wonderfully peaceful water features. Plus there was a private garden in the rear of the cottage just for us! The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable furnishings and lovely decor and very clean. The kitchen is fully equipped if you should want to cook. The neighborhood is very quiet. It is a nice walk straight to Lake Pontchartrain. We were surprised to see so many things in the refrigerator for our first breakfast there. It was our 40th anniversary and we were greeted with a Happy Anniversary sign as we entered the garden. Plus there was a bottle of chilled champagne in the refrigerator and bottle of wine at the dining table. Susan and Eldon were wonderful hosts. The cottage location is an easy, less than 20 minute drive into New Orleans. We are already talking about when we will return to this great area and and peaceful cottage.
