The Auto Lodge New Plymouth is fine. It is dated and could definitely do with a tidy up / update. However, it served its purpose and was adequate for my over night stay.

This is a great place to stay with our small dog--it's easy to walk out the back and down to the beach. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for dog lovers.
