Owl's Tale
This is one of our newest additions for the Avenwood Cabins lineup! You will feel right at home in Owls Tale. Upon entering, you will be pleased to find our beautiful double-sided wood Burning fireplaces and the queen bed will get you feeling cozy right away. Step onto the porch for a soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal on the charcoal grill, or relax with a fire. The perfect little getaway cabin to unplug and unwind! Every cabin is equipped with a Roku tv and Wi-fi.
Tämä mökki sijaitsee vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Wayne National Forest Athens Unit. Majoituspaikassa on saatavilla poreallas. Mökissä tarjoaa asiakkaiden käyttöön esimerkiksi keittiön ja takan.

Cute spot, easy to find and access. Board on wall that was supposed to confirm cleaning was blank, with that and the dead bugs on the floor it led me to believe it may not have been cleaned prior to our arrival. Stayed in the off season so it could have just been sitting awhile between guests. Back door would not latch, only way to keep it closed was the dead bolt. This made it hard for us both to enjoy the deck and hot tub as the door is always open and lets out all the heat.

Cabin was clean & had amenities, hot tub was clean & the balcony had privacy screens so neighbors wouldn’t see, much less that isn’t an issue because they’re fairly spaced apart from each other.

Great place, not great location

House was lovely, super nice inside and out. The location is not great, should warn people with big vehicles or nice vehicles the gravel will hit your car and the parking is very tight.

Even nicer in person than the photos show. Hot tub was perfect for relaxing. So much thought was put into making this a perfect getaway spot, you can tell the owners care that you have a great experience! I would highly recommend

Overall okay

I reached out the evening prior to our visit for check in information and never received a response. Upon arrival we were unable to open the doors and had to drive around to look for what may be an office . There was a note with 2 numbers to text, which we did. After calling and texting we did get a code . Apparently we weren't the only ones in this predicament the neighbors came over to ask us how to get a hold of the host as well. We had no internet or tv for the evening while it stormed . I reached out about this and was told they were surprised it wasnt fixed and would issue a partial refund. I have not received this yet. Someone did show up to fix the internet but were granted access to the cabin without our knowledge and while we were not there.

The cabin was cute and clean, a lot of the doors had problems latching. And had a problem with tv. Other than that it was great. I did notice some algae or mold on a spot around hot tub. It doesnt tell in description there’s other cabins around and close but there is, but it was pleasant other then that!

Nice little place

The cabin itself was very nice. Very clean and in very good condition. My only issue was that it wasn't nearly as secluded as it sounded. The neighbors on the left were very close and the neighbors on the right were fairly close. Other than that a very nice little place.
