Sweet relaxation
This place was what we wanted and needed, a small, quite, relaxing place with a great view. A full size couch would have been nice but we spent most of our time on the patio and in the hot tub. It was an excellent trip

Nice quiet place when it is not raining.
My husband and I stayed here and had a nice time. The house does have a metal roof that amplifies the sound of rain hitting it. Since it rained at night during our stay, my husband and I had a harder time sleeping.

Need updates and some cleaning, the smell of the house was uninviting and hardly bareable. Seems like minimal effort was put into the decor and the shower is basically non functional. I wouldn't book this cabin again..

weekend stay with pets
Our experience from booking, to arriving, & to our stay met our expectation if not exceeded! We hiked with our dogs in hocking co ( be aware not all trails close by to the cabin are pet friendly ). old mans cave was about 27 minutes from the cabin. captain rons pizza ( on way to cabin from old mans cave ) has a pet friendly paito with amazing food ( used their wifi to hook up directions). we rode past the cabin before we started our day. services did cause issues, this booking warns you well, screen shot directions in case! check in was smooth, hot tub was amazing, the cabin met our expectation. it was cozy, with some service & good wifi connection! cabins are spaced enough, felt privacy! the communication was fast when messaged a question to the host. we definitely would recommend & book again! i feel overall the reviews were accurate and helpful! sure one can nit pick on the shower leaking some on the floor but hey, my goal was met: a relaxing night to unplug from reality!

Eagle’s Nest
The cabin was so cozy and perfect size for 2 people. I loved the view over the cliff and the hot tub was PERFECT. I wish it was cooler outside so we could have enjoyed the fireplace!! It wasn’t the cleanest when we arrived (I noticed crumbs on the table, some hairs in the shower, and what smelled like cat pee in the bathroom), but overall we had an excellent time. Some things could use a refresh, in my opinion, to make it a more comfortable stay (maybe a larger couch, new throw pillows, softer lighting around the cabin, etc). We spent most of our time out and about or outside the cabin, so these things didn’t have much of an effect on our stay, just some thoughts I wanted to share! So glad my partner and I decided on doing this to celebrate our anniversary!

Relaxing Stay
Overall the property was good. There were other cabins nearby, but it was very private nonetheless. I was aiming for privacy and was not disappointed! The pictures do not do this place justice, I was suprised how updated and nice the cabin was considering the pictures were somewhat hard to see the entire thing. Finding the cabin was easy, the access was easy and we had no problems checking in. The WiFi worked,decent, but we had service in the location either way which was nice!! Everything was prepped well for our stay, and I found the overall experience to be pleasant. I would stay here again and have already recommended this place to others.

The cabin needed a lot of small easy to do things finished. Light over kitchen sink and table, the stove burners didn’t heat up, Bathroom shower door didn’t close tight, (water all over floor). No shelve or hooks in bathroom. No dresser in bedroom, (lived out of suite case). Needs a light on parking side of cabin. Outside bench broke (thanks for the cut on hand).rusted into..

There is so much wrong with this cabin. As soon as we arrived I knew that it was going to be an unpleseant stay. As you walk into the cabin, you walk right oast what is supposed to be your grill for the night. If you want to call it that. Its barwly standing from the amount of rust that it has. Also it was never cleaned out and had sooo much ash in it!!! The kitchen was sooo filthy, im talking had bugs in the utensil holder, cob webs everywhere, ALL of the dishes and utensils were dirty from whorver stayed there prior, there was an empty sleeve from a paper towel on the paper towel rack (which I had to purchase) all of the pots and pans were just thrown into a cuboard, the sofa was sticky and had some kind of weird residue on it, the stove doesnt work, the bathroom shower leaks, and i could go on and on. Such a terrible experience. Its like the owners or whoever cleans and maintains the cabin does not care at all about it!! I wanted a nice evening with my bf and that was not what we got at all. The pictures dont look anything like the cabin...i would like to speak to someone about getting my money back!

Secluded cabin for two
The cabin was a perfect place to get away with my husband. We enjoyed how private it was, and how clean it was. We regretted that the fire pit was so close to the ground with pine needles all around. We thought it was a fire hazard, so we didn’t bother with the fire. But the Jacuzzi was a treat, along with a view of the woods. The cabinet is really out in the boonies and away from anything. What is the curtain rods tends to fall from its hanger when you’re adjusting the curtains. We really enjoyed it. We would visit again.

Rustic Seclusion
We loved our stay in this little log cabin, it has a rustic feeling with modern amenities. Perfect for two people & has a great view of the woods. We liked how quiet it was & that there wasn’t even road noise.

Beautiful and private; nice amenities, but updates needed.
The cabin was quaint and very private, but needs some updates. We enjoyed our stay but found that some simple things would have made it better. The stove in this unit seems to only work on high, which is difficult for cooking a meal and the shower door would not close. I would definitely stay again, but just book one of the other updated cabins in the future.

Loved the seclusion but was disappointed that fireplace wouldnt work. Check in was confusion. Called a phone number and received texts with a number which opened keypad. We never seen anyone. Even texted we were checking out and no reply. Thought this process was strange. I would go back again. .
