Stay was nice and the staff were very welcoming. Very small room but expected staying in New York. One of the better options since breakfast is included. Only flaw was the space for eating during the breakfast time. Space was very crowded and had to share tables with other families. Not a huge deal, but if you have a larger family, you may need to bring your breakfast to your room to enjoy.

I have nothing but praise for this hotel. The friendliness and efficiency of staff, cleanliness, safety, expansive and included breakfast buffet, and walking distance to major attractions and public transport made it worth the price. And having a view of the Empire State Building out my window was fantastic! The staff upgraded me to a room with a view of it at no charge, without me having to ask. I would stay here anytime I visit NYC.

This was a great base for our time in New York City. The location was great with a well connected subway outside and options to travel to and explore different parts of Manhattan, just what we needed. Good selection for breakfast and although a little crowded, you didn’t have to wait too long to find a free spot (there were just 2 of us). All staff were friendly and polite. Great restaurants not too far either and the choice of walking or getting the subway was great.

A nice little place in a very good location across from Herald Square. The subway is right on the corner, the staff is friendly, and the free breakfast can help save time and money better spent doing things. 24 hour water, tea, and coffee as well.

I used to go the other Hampton Inn (Madison Square). This has a bigger room and a fridge, which is great. It has a bigger desk, drawers and a wardrobe. As usual, elevator during rush hours can be complicated if you have scheduled some attraction, but other than that it is Ok. Two minor points: the breakfast area is small, so try to go early to pick up a table and not "fight" for the food. The other one is related to the internet: the Wi-Fi is weak and you are constantly being redirected to the Hilton Garden Inn that is next to it, so routers could be added to solve that. The street is a little noisy compared to the 32nd, but... it is NY... Maybe better windows could solve the problem Other than that, food is good, cleaning is Ok, nice staff and the location is very good. Taxi comes from JFK and enters directly in 35 street. We definitely will come back there.

We had a great stay at the Hampton Inn 35th Street Manhattan. Very convenient location to get around Manhattan easily. The staff were all great and the room service was wonderful. My only complaint is the bed. It was so hard. Bring back the Hampton Inn beds, please!
